This is a nice precursor to 15 years from now, when they’re all giving each other herpes.

Geri Halliwell is being forced to leave her 18-month-old daughter Bluebell at home while she and the other Spice Girls prepare to kick off their world tour in Vancouver on Sunday.

“Bluebell caught chickenpox from [Victoria's Beckham's son] Cruz,” Halliwell (”Ginger” Spice), 35, revealed Friday morning on the British TV show GMTV. “She’s now completely pelted now so I left her at home. Normally they’re running around the set.”

The Spice Girls had some surprise visitors at rehearsals in LA recently when Hollywood stars Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes along with baby Suri stopped by to wish them luck for the forthcoming tour.

Tom and Katie enjoyed an impromptu audience with the girls and were treated to an exclusive performance, while Suri danced along to the music.

“David and I are great friends with Tom and Katie,” Victoria told us afterwards “It was lovely of them to come down to rehearsals, a really nice surprise. Katie has told me before that she used to be a big Spice fan so it was great for her to meet the other girls.”

OMG.

Emma Bunton, aka Baby Spice, gave birth to a son, Beau, at London’s Portland Hospital on Friday. It’s the first child for Emma and boyfriend Jade Jones, and will probably be the last for awhile. In June, the story broke that the Spice Girls, who are prepping for a reunion tour, had been told by their manager: “Do not become pregnant – please!”

This isn’t the first Spice Baby. In fact, now all but one of the Spice Girls have Spice Babies. Victoria Beckham has three sons, Melanie Brown has two daughters, and Geri Halliwell has one daughter. Melanie Chisholm, or Sporty Spice, is the only one to abstain from motherhood thus far.
