It looks like Emma sprained her ankle after taking a little tumble on stage at the Girls’ Las Vegas show.

“I had a tumble on stage and unfortunately I have sprained my ankle, so I’m hobbling around on crutches,” said Emma. “But I’m sure to make a speedy recovery and see you all at the O2 [in London].”

Maybe someone oughtta be dancing in sneakers rather than high heels in the future…

I wonder if this is going to impact the tour.

I feel like it’s just now hitting me that the Spice Girls are making a comeback. And you know what? I love it. You know, you think you’ve outgrown your teen years. You go to college. You get a job. You pay your own bills. You have relationships, you end relationships. You stop watching The Real World. It occurs to you that it is no longer appropriate to wear shirts that show your belly button piercing. In fact, it occurs to you that it is no longer particularly appropriate to have that belly button piercing in the first place. You periodically consider Botox. You look at the teenage girls in the mall and think, “Who let them leave the house that way?” You buy your own car. You own a house. You redecorate.

Basically, you’re a big important grown-up now.

And then the Spice Girls show up on stage all like, “If you wanna be my lover, you gotta get with my friends,” and you’re all like, “Ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!! THE SPICE GIRLS!!!!!!!!! YEEEEEEEEEEEEEAH!!!!!!! GIRL POWER!!!!!!!!”

And ten years of maturity go right out the window. And it is so awesome.

This is a nice precursor to 15 years from now, when they’re all giving each other herpes.

Geri Halliwell is being forced to leave her 18-month-old daughter Bluebell at home while she and the other Spice Girls prepare to kick off their world tour in Vancouver on Sunday.

“Bluebell caught chickenpox from [Victoria's Beckham's son] Cruz,” Halliwell (”Ginger” Spice), 35, revealed Friday morning on the British TV show GMTV. “She’s now completely pelted now so I left her at home. Normally they’re running around the set.”

The Spice Girls had some surprise visitors at rehearsals in LA recently when Hollywood stars Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes along with baby Suri stopped by to wish them luck for the forthcoming tour.

Tom and Katie enjoyed an impromptu audience with the girls and were treated to an exclusive performance, while Suri danced along to the music.

“David and I are great friends with Tom and Katie,” Victoria told us afterwards “It was lovely of them to come down to rehearsals, a really nice surprise. Katie has told me before that she used to be a big Spice fan so it was great for her to meet the other girls.”
