Abbie Cornish and Ryan Phillippe did some low-cost shopping for their gazillion-dollar Bev Hills home on Monday at the famous Swedish home store. Among the items purchased: a $99 standing mirror.

At least we know they can’t mount that on their ceiling.

Ryan Phillippe is in Australia to spend the holidays with the woman who broke up his marriage, actress Abbie Cornish. Ryan will spend Christmas with Abbie’s family in Sydney. His kids will be with their mom, Reese Witherspoon, and her boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal.

And I doubt there’s any truth to the rumors that Abbie’s preggers, as the pic above was taken today in Sydney at the Calvin Klein show, where Abbie reportedly sipped champagne all night.

At this point, everyone in Hollywood is always pregnant all of the time. I’m so tired of writing about people being supposedly pregnant because they put on a couple of pounds. But here’s the latest:

Mariah Carey is supposedly pregnant with Nick Cannon’s kid, because she canceled plans for a tour. Rumor has it that she’d already hired costume designers and dancers, who were devastated to be laid off in this economy.

Abbie Cornish is rumored to be pregnant with Ryan Phillippe’s kiddo, because she’s put on weight and went home.

Katie Price and Peter Andre are reported to be expecting another … just because.

She may have a reasonable excuse, but it seems Miss Abbie Cornish was a no-show at the Stop-Loss premiere in LA.

Abbie met Ryan Phillippe on the set of that movie, and set in motion the series of events that would eventually end in the tragic dissolution of Ryan’s marriage to Reese Witherspoon.

I was really looking forward to running a photo of the two of them together.

It’s a non-issue, kids.

The two split a year ago (wow, has it really been that long??), and today sources are reporting that their divorce is official.

Rumor is Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe are working out their differences and getting close to getting back together. Page Six says that they have been closer as of late and even though their breakup was pretty brutal, with Ryan admitting he had cheated on Reese, they are spending a lot of quality time together.

“They met for lunch this week at the Votre Sante health-food restaurant, a regular Brentwood haunt for Reese on San Vicente. And they’re going on runs together around the Brentwood Country Club. Both are regular, dedicated runners. Running is a very healing, meditative thing, so maybe it will work its magic on them.”

I have no idea how running fits into this. The last time I went running with my boyfriend by the time I caught up with him I ended up tripping on his foot and falling on my face. That ended our romantic running.

I hope this works out for them. Neither of them really has had a high profile romance since their split. Ryan has shown that he is a devoted dad to their kids and they were just so darn cute as a couple. Ryan’s PR person obviously denied this report but I’m guessing we might see more of these two together in the future.

In her ongoing quest to out-Paris Paris Hilton, Britney Spears is reportedly preying on not-quite-divorced-yet men. This time, it’s Ryan Phillippe. According to the National Enquirer, the two of them met up in the bathroom of Les Deux in Hollywood on May 16. Says a source: “Britney was in the club’s lounge when Ryan came over to say hi. Both of them had drinks and it wasn’t long before Britney had her arms around him … They went from saying hello to groping and kissing each other in record time.”

Continues the source: “After several of Ryan’s buddies joined them at Britney’s table, Ryan excused himself and went into the nearby men’s room. On the spur of the moment, Britney followed. Alarmed, Britney’s bodyguards began pounding and screaming on the door. With no response from her, they went ballistic. After calling out to Britney several more times asking if she was OK, they busted in the door and found Britney and Ryan groping and kissing each other.”

Reps for both Spears and Phillippe deny the session, but the Enquirer, per usual, is sticking to its story. Honestly, I’d expect Ryan Phillippe to have slightly higher standards, but I guess after a few shots of tequila even Britney Spears could look good.

Despite the fact that Reese Witherspoon is worth considerably more than he is, and the couple did not sign a pre-nup, Ryan Phillippe will not be seeking alimony from his soon-to-be ex-wife; he is asking only for joint custody of their two children, Ava, 7, and Deacon, 3. Phillippe asks that visitation rights be “equally distributed,” and is not blocking Reese from seeking spousal support from him.

The couple separated in late October, after Reese caught Ryan having an affair with Australian actress Abbie Cornish. They filed for divorce in November. Reese has since been linked to co-star Jake Gyllenhaal.
