Despite earlier reports that Rihanna was not cooperating with authorities, it looks like she is cooperating fully. So, ya know, good for her.

Meanwhile, T.I. went on Carson Daly’s show last night and was asked about the incident. “I spoke to him today,” T.I. said. “He’s cool, you know. He’s a little concerned about the situation, but he’s still the same Chris. I told him, ‘This too shall pass.’”

Ummmm … what the fuck, T.I.?

I don’t care what actually happened, someone should have told you that you do NOT GO on national television acting like domestic violence allegations are the kind of thing you can be “a little concerned” or “cool” about. You, my friend, are headed to jail in March — isn’t that right? So maybe you don’t have this whole life thing figured out just yet, and maybe you should shut the fuck up.

I’m just so annoyed with all this.

I seriously feel a little sick reading this.  Like Paris Hilton fragrance sets, it seems like there is a new version of the Chris Brown/Rihanna story being released every ten minutes.  This most recent edition is one of the more disturbing:

Now MediaTakeOut.com can EXCLUSIVELY report that Rihanna does NOT want Chris Brown to be criminally punished for the alleged assault. According to an EXTREMELY reliable insider, Rihanna is NO LONGER assisting investigators in their criminal case against Chris Brown.

Unfortunately for Chris, that’s probably not going to make the charges go away. Police claim that, on the scene of the incident, Rihanna identified Chris Brown as the man who assaulted her. Additionally, police have physical evidence. MediaTakeOut.com can OFFICIALLY CONFIRM that Rihanna’s face and arm were severely bruised in the incident and Chris suffered from minor bruising as well.

In fairness, the New York Daily News is reporting it completely different:

Rihanna is providing “ongoing” cooperation with detectives, who are building a domestic violence case against Brown, a police source told the Los Angeles Times.

Yes, the case would move forward without Rihanna’s participation.  However, getting a conviction will be much more difficult without her testimony.  Rihanna, you have to do it, not only for restoration of your own self-esteem, but for all the young girls that look up to you.  And to make sure that (alleged!) bastard serves time.

Law enforcement sources have now gotten specific with us… police took pictures of Rihanna’s injuries and they are “horrific.”

As we reported, the photos show major contusions on both sides of the singer’s face — there is serious swelling and bruising. Her lip is split and her nose bloody. We have now confirmed there are bite marks on one of her arms and on several fingers.

And we now know this… Rihanna claims Brown struck her with his fists and that’s what did the damage. There was no object used in the alleged attack.

Rihanna refused treatment at the scene, but before she left cops took photos. We’re told the photos alone are “devastating proof of abuse.”

And we’ve learned it was not Rihanna who called 911. Someone in the area heard her screams and called.

I don’t even know what to say about this. I’m speechless, and I’m so upset. I’ve always been a big supporter of Chris Brown, and I just feel betrayed by this vile and despicable behavior.

And I have to say I am totally grossed out by those of you who have been commenting that Rihanna may have been “asking for it.” How could anyone be asking for this? Are you people fucking crazy? You can talk all the shit you want about Rihanna, but to suggest that a woman could be “asking” to be physically abused is to perpetuate the idea that this behavior is in any way acceptable. It is not. Physical abuse is not acceptable in any relationship, by any party, ever. It is never warranted. I have dated a lot of men in my life, and I have been a raging bitch to some of them — and I take responsibility for that — but not a single one of them has ever laid a hand on me, or even come close. Because it is never acceptable, and many men understand that. There is NO SENSE in dating any one of the filthy, disgusting creatures who doesn’t. Got it, ladies?

It is looking more and more certain that Rihanna was on the receiving end of Chris Brown’s domestic violence. RADAR heard from a source who was at Cedars-Sinai that night, and it’s not pretty:

It was some time after 12PM PST [Sunday] and I had been waiting in the ER department corridor when Rihanna was brought through the back entrance on a gurney, flanked by two LAPD officers. It was impossible to know it was her at first because when they wheeled her past me, she had the hood on her fuchsia-colored sweatshirt tightly drawn round her face and she was wearing big brown sunglasses. They took her into room 14 which was opposite me. It had a six-foot glass door but the nurses drew a privacy curtain around it.

I knew the person was famous because of all the attention she was being given by security and medical staff. However, they didn’t draw the curtain all the time and I was finally able to make out that the woman they had brought in was Rihanna. She was lying in bed. While the two police officers waited outside, Rihanna was seen by the doctor. When he left, a plain clothes officer in a mismatched suit went in.

I figured he was a detective because I saw the handcuffs in his belt. He stayed in there for about an hour.

When he left, Rihanna’s two female assistants went in to see her and a private security guard stood outside. The police officers were given room 10 to use which was close to Rihanna’s.

Rihanna was clearly very upset by what had happened and I could hear her screaming. Rihanna was trying to get her point across about something, she sounded like she was crying as she tried to get to put her point across.

Her staff was also very shaken by what had happened. Later on I saw one of the assistants crying into the shoulder of the security guard. I left at 4pm, happy to get out of the place, something terrible had clearly happened to Rihanna.

When asked for comment, her publicist just said: “Rihanna is well. Thank you for concern and support.”

TMZ is also reporting that the victim’s name on the police report was Robyn Fenty, which is Rihanna’s real name.

If this is all true, I hope this is the END of Chris Brown’s career. No self-respecting DJ should play his songs on the radio after this. And NO ONE should be buying his albums!

But Wrigley’s has temporarily suspended his ad campaign until we can all decide whether or not he tossed Rihanna around the room like this pack of Doublemint gum.

Things are NOT looking good for Chris at this point. It’s nearly 24 hours after this shit hit the proverbial fan, and we haven’t heard a statement from Rihanna’s camp or his to defend his behavior. If this alleged violence wasn’t against Rihanna, her peeps would have issued a statement by now, I think.

Chris hasn’t been canned yet by Wrigley’s because, ya know, he’s innocent until proven guilty and stuff.

“Wrigley is concerned by the serious allegations made against Chris Brown,” a company spokesperson said in a statement. “We believe Mr. Brown should be afforded the same due process as any citizen. However, we have made the decision to suspend the current advertising featuring Brown and any related marketing communications until the matter is resolved.”

I can’t even tell you how disappointed I am about this.

Chris Brown — whom I’d adored for being such a good role model — turned himself into the LAPD late Sunday night and was charged with felony battery after being wanted for domestic violence. The violence may or may not have been against his girlfriend Rihanna — police haven’t confirmed or denied it — but both Chris and Rihanna were scheduled to perform at the Grammys on Sunday and both backed out at the last minute.

Chris made his $50K bail and was released.

I’m just so upset about this. I really thought he was such a good guy and such a good example. And then this shit happens. Very, very disappointing, Chris.

Katy Perry won the NRJ Music International Best Song of the Year award for I Kissed A Girl.  If you are anything like me, you may be wondering what the NRJ Music Awards even are.  Basically, it is yet another created excuse to have a fancy awards ceremony in an exotic location.  NRJ radio listeners vote online for their favorite artists in different categories and then they have an awards show in France. 

So, Katy won and accepted the award at the Cannes ceremony.  It turns out, she’s not the winner.  A vote miscount; how very Florida of them!  The true winner was Rihanna for her song, Disturbia.

This all feels so Brady Bunch to me.  Remember the episode when Jan was feeling all defeated by Marcia, Marcia, Marcia but then she won the essay contest and realized that she was special too?  Then, right before going onstage to be recognized, she discovered her score was added wrong and she came clean to the teacher.  Poor Jan; still a loser and though being honest was the right thing to do, it didn’t make her any more useful and certainly never put her in Marcia’s league.

Now that I think of it, I’m not really sure how Jan Brady relates to Katy Perry being stripped of her win, but bear with me.  I had a very traumatic hairdressing appointment yesterday involving bangs.  I’m not myself.
