The British folks are all excited because Prince William’s gal pal, Kate Middleton, was finally photographed with Prince Charles. You can’t see his face in this photo, but he’s the little gray-haired dude in the hunting get-up.

The Sunday Telegraph said it was the first time Middleton had been photographed with Charles, “fueling speculation that she is about to become engaged to Prince William.”

The Sunday Times said the pictures suggested that Middleton’s “induction into the royal family appears to have stepped up a notch.”

Okay, so I’ve had three serious boyfriends in my life. Of the three of them, I think I have a picture of myself with only one of their fathers. I dated one guy for six years and only met his father once. I don’t think this means shit.

I was thrilled when I heard that Prince William and Harry were going to get the chance to put on a concert to celebrate the life of their mother Princess Diana. Back in the day I was a huge Princess Diana fan. I admired her grace, beauty and the fact that she used her extreme celebrity to do good works all over the world. She was the first “Saint Angelina” and for a while made the British monarchy cool.

Harry and William are following in their mother’s footsteps and becoming true celebrities in their own right. They have stepped out of the shadows and seem to be really enjoying their higher profile media image. This concert, which was held on July 1st celebrated the 10th anniversary of her death.

I have to say that I used to be a William fan but he is looking a bit too much like his dad. Harry really has become the hot one. That Chelsey Davy is one lucky lady.

At least that’s what News of the World is reporting.

The two were reportedly sucking face on the dance floor at a June 7 party for William and other troop leaders.

The Moulin Rouge-themed bash was titled Freakin’ Naughty and featured blow-up dolls and guests dressed as saucy nuns, doctors and nurses, some in sexy Ann Summers lingerie.

Kate was dressed more modestly, but looked gorgeous and Wills could not take his eyes off her, according to guests.

They chatted all night but she kept breaking off to mingle with his Army pals. One guest said Wills followed Kate around looking like a lost puppy and finally dragged her onto the dancefloor at midnight.

After an intimate dance the couple kissed passionately.

When friends joked that they should get a room, Wills did just that, leading Kate back to his private quarters where they spent several hours.

I don’t quite understand at what point in time I started caring about the British Royal family, but I’m really rooting for these two. I was genuinely happy when I saw this, which is strange, because normally when two people split up and then have a romantic reunion I’m just plain bitter. But I adore Wills, and Kate seems like a solid girl who has her head screwed on right (although with arguable taste in head-wear), and Wills seems to be genuinely in love with her. Plus she’s a commoner, making this a true fairy princess tale. Apparently Kate’s still not sure if she wants to get back into a full-fledged relationship with Wills, but they’re going to see each other twice in the next month at formal affairs, and hopefully Kate will realize how much she loves him and how cute she’d be as the Queen of England and then they’ll get married and it will be sooooo adorable!!

Prince William and Kate Middleton have ended their four year relationship igniting the hopes of many a young girl who has had a crush on the young prince. Sadly, many people in England were eagerly awaiting the day these two would have a lavish royal wedding like that of Princess Diana.

Nobody knows the actual reason for the split but The Sun has reported that William and Kate were under a lot of pressure and William was wanting to focus on his career. William is set to dedicate the next few years of his life to the military after graduating from Sandhurst Military Academy.

The couple have been dating since they met at St. Andrews University. Kate is followed by the paps wherever she goes and I think that might be a huge reason for the split. Princess Diana was such an icon and to be the next Princess is a huge responsibility for any young woman.

So this article has the Internet all abuzz this morning. It’s an article from the U.K.’s Daily Mail, and it’s been as slow a news week in Britain as it has over here, so this is what they’re running.

Royal photographer Arthur Edwards says, “She’s in love with Prince William. I’m sure one day they’ll get married…I have talked to him about that and he’s made it clear… he wants to get married.”

And then Clarence House is all like “Prince William has no plans to get engaged.”

So will he marry her sometime? Possibly. I think she’s adorable (although I find her taste in hats to be questionable at best) and obviously he does too. She is much loved by Englanders, and I think it would be wonderful for the country if Wills married her (plus princess stories are always fun). Kate is older than Diana was when she married into the royal family (Kate’s 25 now, Diana was barely 20), and so hopefully with that added maturity she will have an easier ride than Diana did.

But I just don’t think there’s anything in this article to imply that Wills is popping the question anytime soon. Daily Mail is bored this week, just like the rest of us; with Anna Nicole in the ground and Britney in rehab, there’s just not much to do but wildly speculate on Prince William’s marriage prospects.

I don’t really keep up with the Royal Family. Sure, the normal Christmas card exchange and the occasional pheasant hunting, but other than that it’s not like I know what’s happening in their day to day lives. Which why I was taken aback by these two articles:

What the hell? It seems that Prince William has a lady, and that lady could one day be the Queen of England. By the way, that second article has really poor photos of our gal Kate, she looks to be far more attractive normally as the above pics suggest.

Anyway, I guess I’m happy for the Brits. If indeed they want a new glamour Princess I say it’s high time they had one, we’ve all healed and such.
