They use the Port-a-Pottie! Total hottie Prince Harry got some relief during a polo match in London.

Prince Harry was spotted wearing bright pink nail polish the other night. This, combined with the face that he “was drinking Vodka Red Bull and Vodka Apples” lead me to conclude that this is not his first and only foray into feminine things. I bet he likes to feel a little satin between his royal cheeks every now and again. 

Even when guys typically do wear nail polish they tend to go for black. It takes a real man to wear fluorescent pink though.

New Idea magazine, an Australian publication, has issued an apology for running a story disclosing Prince Harry’s military whereabouts. It says it was unaware that the British MoD had an agreement with major news outlets not to reveal that Harry was in Afghanistan.

“We do acknowledge that our actions in publishing the story can be reasonably viewed as insensitive and irresponsible,” the magazine says. They call the story a “serious lapse of judgment.”

We’re still waiting on an apology from Matt Drudge …

Prince Harry got back home today. He was met at RAF Brize Norton in the UK by his father and brother.

Glad you’re safe, buddy. And I’m also way sorry that the foreign media won’t let you live your goddamn life. You’re one of the few celebrities who can say “I didn’t ask for this” and really mean it, and I have a great deal of admiration for your determination to fight for your country alongside your friends. All the best, kiddo.

The Ministry of Defense called the rampant reporting of Harry’s deployment by “elements of the foreign media…regrettable,” and said that while the prince was expected to return to Britain in a matter of weeks, the situation had now “clearly changed.”

“Following a detailed assessment of the risks by the operational chain of command, the decision has been taken…to withdraw Prince Harry from Afghanistan immediately,” the Ministry said.

The decision to pull Harry out of the combat zone comes after the collapse of a media blackout. While U.K. reporters and media outlets were already aware of his deployment, they entered into an embargo agreement with the military not to report on his service until he returned home safely.

The jig was up, however, when the Drudge Report broke the news, in turn claiming that it had pieced together information from Australian press last month.

Americans. We’re so helpful.

Now that Prince Harry’s dirty little secret is out — he’s been serving in Afghanistan for the past 10 weeks — photos of him out there have hit the web.

It’s really shitty that the fact that he’s there got leaked. It compromises his safety and the safety of his fellow soldiers. But I have to say, even though I’m not a Brit, I feel a great deal of pride for Harry. I’m sure he didn’t have to go — he wanted to defend his country like the rest of his friends, and I give him mad props for that. Britain should be very proud of its prince.

CNN is reporting this without much of a story behind it. I’m sure that’s coming later today.

For now, they’re just saying they’ve confirmed that Prince Harry is in Afghanistan, clearly in the line of danger.

Chelsy reportedly dumped Prince Harry — who she’d been dating for three years — because she was unhappy with his Playboy lifestyle, and his decision to attend the rugby world cup final in Paris in October instead of her birthday party.

Harry, baby, call me. You’ve heard we American girls have loose morals. Let me prove it.

I know he has a girlfriend and all, but I kind of wish I were British royalty so I could have a shot at him.

I used to be a big Wills fan — and I guess I still am — but Harry is just growing into such an adorable man. Plus you can marry Harry without all the pressure of having to be the Queen of England one day.

I was thrilled when I heard that Prince William and Harry were going to get the chance to put on a concert to celebrate the life of their mother Princess Diana. Back in the day I was a huge Princess Diana fan. I admired her grace, beauty and the fact that she used her extreme celebrity to do good works all over the world. She was the first “Saint Angelina” and for a while made the British monarchy cool.

Harry and William are following in their mother’s footsteps and becoming true celebrities in their own right. They have stepped out of the shadows and seem to be really enjoying their higher profile media image. This concert, which was held on July 1st celebrated the 10th anniversary of her death.

I have to say that I used to be a William fan but he is looking a bit too much like his dad. Harry really has become the hot one. That Chelsey Davy is one lucky lady.

Prince Harry will not be going to Iraq.

Chief of the General Staff, General Sir Richard Dannatt, said in a statement: “There have been a number of specific threats, some reported, and some not reported, which relate directly to Prince Harry as an individual. These threats place not only him but also those around him a degree of risk that I now deem unacceptable.”

Wowsers, so crazy dudes over there were going to target Prince Harry? It’s almost like they don’t have any appreciation at all for the monarchy. Hey, crazy guys, didn’t you see The Queen?

However, his military career can still go forward, according to Sir Richard. “I’ve asked his commanding officer to develop his future career but I won’t speculate on that,” he said.

Translation:
Dear Prince Harry,
You may ride a desk for as long as you like, but there is no way we’re going to face the furor from having you hurt on our watch. Sorry bud.

It looks like they might. His regiment is due to begin a six-month tour of duty in Iraq within weeks. If deployed, Harry would be the first royal to serve in a war zone since his uncle, Prince Andrew, flew as a helicopter pilot in the Falklands conflict with Argentina in 1982 (remember that?). Although the final decision about what exactly Harry will be doing won’t be made for a few days, the prince had a huge farewell party in London on Friday night, and gave a moving speech:

I’m prepared to do anything they throw at me … Whether I serve on the front line or carry out a desk job in Basra I just want to get out to Iraq and serve my country. I’ll be honoured to serve as best I can — whatever I do. I have to listen to the orders of my commanding officers. Sadly, it’s out of my hands. I’m proud of the men I’ve trained with over the last few months but I have to respect that they need to be safe as well. It’s a great, great feeling to go to Iraq. I don’t know what to expect. I’m nervous, excited and apprehensive …and I’m really looking forward to it. I just want to get out there and do it.

It is wonderful that he wants to serve his country, but, as Harry himself alludes to in his speech, his presence endangers the other troops. According the News of the World:

Terror leader Abu Mujtaba, commander of a 50-strong unit of Iraqi insurgents, has chillingly piled on the pressure. He said: “One of our aims is to capture Harry. We have people inside the British bases to inform us on when he will arrive.

“We have a special unit that would work to track him down. Not only us, but every person who hates the British and the Americans will try to get him — all the mujahideens, al-Qaeda and the Iranians will try.

“For me he is just a British soldier and he should be killed if he comes to Iraq. But let’s be realistic, we can kill hundreds of British soldiers before forcing them to withdraw — but Harry is a bigger catch and we will force the British to come on their knees and talk to us.”

Now, seriously, who is this terrorist leader giving quotes to News of the World? I’m not saying the terrorists aren’t thinking this, but I just can’t believe there’s a terrorist sitting in an office building somewhere with a secretary like, “Um, Mr. Mujtaba, News of the World is on line two. They’re looking for a pull quote on this Prince Harry thing. Shall I put them through once you’re done with Osama?”

The newly single Wills showed up at the party and, while Harry and girlfriend Chelsy Davy left around 1 a.m., Wills closed the place down, apparently being quite the ladies man.

Both the royal family and the U.K. are concerned for Harry’s safety in Iraq. Sigh. This is just like when they drafted Conrad Birdie.
