If the NY Post is to be believed, Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem are set to tie the knot.  Remember how many times we were told that Jennifer Aniston was marrying Vince Vaughn/ex-husband Brad Pitt/Jason Lewis/Courteney Cox/the sperm donor of the twins she was expecting … and it’s never true.

I think that engagement rumors are the natural follow-up to pregnancy rumors.  Of course, Penelope is denying all the baby rumors and I’ve posted a picture taken of her on September 11th so you can all see how totally and completely not pregnant she is.  Ahem.

It was only August when Cruz was saying that she wasn’t sure that she believed in marriage, which could be a quote she threw out to throw the media off her track.

In conclusion, it’s way too taxing to try and figure out what’s true and what’s false with these two.  I highly suspect that there could be a head crowning out of Penelope Cruz’s snatch and we’ll still be hearing that there’s “no truth to that rumor”.

There have been rumblings that Penelope Cruz is pregnant via the attractive sperm of Javier Bardem ever since her Berlin appearance at the premiere of her newest movie, The Broken Embraces.

Also adding to suspicion was a recent interview in which Penelope talked about motherhood.  In August’s issue of UK’s Psychologies, Cruz was quoted as saying:  “When I [have babies], I want to do it really well. I want it to be my best project in life. I don’t know if I believe in marriage. I believe in family, love and children.”

Now, according to Just Jared, sources have confirmed that she is about four months pregnant.  Good luck to the couple!

You know all that bitching we were doing about Angelina appearing at events dressed in what appeared to be belted nightgowns? Well, I think she got tired of it because this is what she wore to The Orange  British Academy Film Awards.

Meet total hottie Javier Bardem, an acclaimed Spanish actor who recently made a foray into English-language films with No Country for Old Men. You’ll be seeing a lot more of him in 2008 films.

The hyper-attractive couple were spotted at the Delancey in NYC. Josh was feeding fruit to Penelope as they were making out. Ugh. Get a room, people.

The pair was also spotted at Alias Restaurant (please tell me Jen Garner’s the head chef) on Sunday.

Since Penelope Cruz once dated gay gay Tom Cruise many have speculated that she is a closeted lesbian and that her close “friendship” with Salma Hayek is actually a hot love affair. Like the cute “friends” that they are I guess at some premiere Penelope pinched Selma’s butt in front of a bunch of paparazzi which promted many to start gabbing again about a relationship between the two.

On the David Letterman show this week Penelope had to deny deny deny that she isn’t having some hot latina action will Salma stating,

“We’re like sisters, and have the same sense of humour. But I did it in front of 100 photographers, and now apparently we’re lovers. I’m sorry to say, this is not the case.”

Honestly that would be the hottest lesbian couple ever. I’m kind of hoping that it is true. Actually most of the male population of the free world is hoping that this is true.
