So many times, I read some celebrity item and then never hear or read any follow-up.  So I just shelve it as a Must Have Just Been A Rumor.  Oh, how I wish this were one of those times.  Alas, it is not so.

Owen Wilson and Kate Hudson have been seen biking around Paris this week.  They are totally back together.

In my dating days, I had a rule about reconciliation.  If I hated a guy enough to dump him, there was no need to revisit that relationship.  Ever.  And I really wouldn’t be able to handle the guilt of thinking my boyfriend was going to open a vein if I tired of him.

I’m open-minded though.  Educate me.  Do relationships ever survive a second attempt?  And even such fairy tales exist, do these two numbnuts have what it takes to succeed?

The buzz is that Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson are together yet again. They spent Sunday at Owen’s Malibu home, chilling with Kate’s son, Ryder.

NOTHING GOOD happens when these two reunite. Kate’s been looking like a hot mess lately, and her ex-boyfriend just knocked up his new girlfriend, so you know she’s been hitting the beer and feeling sorry for herself. I’m sure most guys in Hollywood won’t touch her with a 10-foot pole right now, so she’s running to Owen for reassurance.

I dunno, maybe this is all in my head, but it seems like it’s never good for anyone when Owen Wilson and Kate Hudson are dating.

Take that, Benjamin Button!

Marley & Me topped the box office at $36.3 million this weekend, while Benjamin Button fell to the #3 slot (behind Bedtime Stories). It’s notable that Button is longer than Marley and showed in about 500 fewer theaters, but Marley still had a higher per-screen take ($10,450 to $8,987).

Looks like theater-goers would rather get their holiday cheer from a desperate and childless bachelorette and a suicidal alcoholic, just so long as they’re aging in the right direction.

Congrats to Jen and Owen!

Jennifer Aniston looked absolutely stunning at the LA premiere of her much-publicized new flick, Marley & Me. Everything about this look works, and she just looks radiant and delightful and gorgeous and I couldn’t be happier for her! She posed a bunch with co-star Owen “Not Dead Yet” Wilson and even spent some time with her canine co-star.

And you know who else just happened to be there?

John Mayer, ‘natch.

No, no, no, I’m totally fucking with you guys.

He hit up and strip club and he drank.

“He spent 4½ hours at Rick’s Cabaret and was in an upbeat mood,” says a source. “He watched the Flyers game, drank beer, and when a parade of 75 half-naked girls caught his eye, he asked for dances from several and definitely had a preference for blondes. He tipped at least one with a $100 bill.”

Oh, Owen. You know you’re not supposed to be drinking, buddy. Please don’t try to die again, dude. That would be so sad.

I asked you guys last month if you still cared about Jennifer Aniston, and the response was an overwhelming yes.

So here she is on the set of Marley and Me, in Miami, with Owen Wilson.

I don’t think I’ve seen anyone wear short overalls with a tank top underneath them since high school, but that’s the costume department’s problem, not Jen’s. And she actually looks cute as a button in them.

Owen looks great, too. It’s good to see him working and seeming happy again.

Owen Wilson was spotted splashing around in the waters of Hawaii this weekend. Maybe some water therapy is just what he needs. We hope you’re happy and healthy, Owen!

Anyway, she’s supposedly running around town with Owen Wilson. They even took a yoga class together!

Page Six ran a piece yesterday about how she stole and purposely broke an umbrella some NYC restauranteur lent her. Sounds like she’s exactly what Owen Wilson needs right now. About as much as he needs to be running around the NYC bar scene.

The first interview with Owen since his suicide attempt will be posted on MySpace at midnight tonight!

Wilson, 38, is participating in MySpace’s Artist on Artist series with friend and director, Wes Anderson. The segment was filmed on Thursday and will be will be posted on the networking site on October 26, at midnight pst.

The ‘Almost Famous’ actress is said to be desperate to woo back Owen – who was hospitalised in August after a failed suicide bid – after realising she still loves him.

A source said: “It was working out between her and Dax, but it’s a clean break.

“After Owen’s suicide attempt, she realised how much she loved him, and broke up with Dax.”

Hooray! Suicide does work, after all!

Yeah, right. Owen Wilson needs a girlfriend right now like he needs a hole in the head.

Owen: Get sober again. Get healthy again. Focus on you.
