First of all, Miley and her family are safe, don’t let the headline freak you out too badly. However, one of the four busses used in her tour flipped over last night in Richmond, VA while on the way to the star’s next show in Greensboro, NC.

The bus that flipped was mainly used to stage lighting and there were a handful of crew members on board, but the one presumed to be dead is the bus driver. All other nine passengers on board, however, did suffer minor injuries.

At this time it’s not clear why the bus drifted away from the pack. These accidents often happen due to weather, intoxication, mechanical issues with the vehicle or unicorns. OK. I made that last one up.

No comment has been issued from the Cyrus camp.

It all started innocently enough. I’d enjoy a song heard on my car radio only to have it be revealed that it was sung by Miley Cyrus.  It was a little traumatizing at first, but I eventually came to accept the reality:  I like Miley Cyrus songs!  I challenge your mood to not improve when “Party in the USA” plays.

Now, in an interview with a radio station, Miley admits that she doesn’t understand all the vampire hype.  She has no interest in Twilight and no intention of seeing New Moon which premieres Friday.  I totally agree.  I’m so sick of hearing about Rob Pattinson and those stupid books and movies even though it’s a completely unpopular opinion to have.  So, I’m basically a total Miley fan, now.  I’m so ashamed.

If you aren’t interested in listening to almost eight minutes of Miley’s voice — and I wouldn’t blame you — the Twilight conversation starts at about the one minute mark.

Miley Cyrus, who wrote in her autobiography that she was bullied endlessly in school, seems to be a bit of a bully herself. And a little homophobic, too.

During a recent show, Miley changed the lyrics to “7 Things” from “You’re vain, your games” to “You’re vain, you’re gay”. Yikes. The audience noticed, and you can hear one girl in the clip above whisper to her friend “You’re gay?!”

Considering the song is said to be about her ex-boyfriend Nick Jonas, it’s hard to know if this was a slip of the tongue or a direct slap in the face to her ex who she still seems to have private battles with. The two claim to be friends, but I think it’s been established that there’s still some drama going on there behind the scenes.

This isn’t so great for the Disney princess’ less than wholesome image. Earlier this year she was called out for making fun of Asians and was railed by the press for her inappropriate dance moves at the Teen Choice Awards. The fact that  she’d take a chance on throwing out the “you’re gay” thing is completely another sign that Miley is far from being the role model she claims to be and that if we’re lucky, we’re going to see a lot more ridiculous behavior out of this one over the years to come.

Noah Cryus wore what looks like a cut-down version of a Fredericks Of Hollywood teddy, some knee-high boots and bright red lipstick to a Halloween party over the weekend. This isn’t the first time the nine year old girl has been dressed wayyyyy too sexy for her age. She and her BFF cousin Emily also walked a red carpet in swimsuits earlier this year. It doesn’t help that the girls make over-sexualized, flirty eyes at the camera. Whatever innocence could be used to defend these trashy costumes is immediately made irrelevant when you see how very aware these girls are of what they are “supposed” to be imitating.

If I were to imagine how this came about, I would think that, like most children, Noah put in a costume request to her mom and they went shopping together and picked this out. Well, probably more like mom put in a call to a stylist who brought over several options and the two of them agreed upon this one. That right there is the problem. At least four more inches of fabric need to be on that costume, and Tish Cryus should not only recognize, but demand that her daughter pick something more suitable. That’s the way these things work. That’s how you ensure that your daughter doesn’t dress like this every day by the time she’s 14. Not to mention the absolutely miserable message this sends to girls who are fans of Miley and see that her sister dresses like this, allowing to think that on any planet, anywhere that this is an appropriate way for a young girl to dress.

Kiddie superstar Miley Cyrus was seen wearing the same dress as sexy Samantha on the set of the Sex and the City 2 movie. Talk about a cat fight! It’s the kitten versus the cougar! Me-ow!

Thankfully, I don’t write for them, and you don’t have to endure trash like that. I’m also not going to divulge the plot points surrounding this scene and ruin part of the movie for you, but feel free to guess.  So much has been leaked about this movie, I’m starting to feel like I don’t even need to go see it because I’ve already the entire story in gossip website articles.

I’ll just say this: Samantha wears it better.

So Miley Cyrus deleted her Twitter this week and while she was initially quiet on the details, she has since made a rap music video explaining herself and now she’s taken to her website, MileyWorld.com and written a letter to her fans, who supposedly “feel abandoned”. Gross. Anyway, here’s the entire message:

To my dearest fans, You all are the closest thing to my heart & it breaks my spirit to hear that some of you feel neglected since I deleted my twitter. It was a wonderful way to stay connected to you & I really felt like during that time we became very much like friends. Twitter is a beautiful thing if used for the right reason. I love my job so much that it is hard to believe sometimes that it is considered working.

But, in the end it is still a business and I do need some sort of a ‘normal’ life as well. I often complain to the ones closest to me that I don’t seem to have much of a private life any more and part of that is my fault. How can I whine about my life being to public if I am the one telling the world what I am doing? Some things in my life need to say in my life only and not on some gossip site.

I never want any of my fans to feel like I don’t love them or care about them BUT, sharing the same love and respect for me I need to have the space to grow as a person and make some mistakes. I need to be able to live and learn in private. I never want to quit entertaining it is my life, my love, and my passion but I can’t have my personal life be other peoples entertainment.

Twitter is not the only thing I am cutting back on. This is not an attack against this particular site, I just think kids all over the world could maybe take a little vacation from Cyberspace. My problem with the internet is it makes negativity so available. It allows people to anonymously hurt others without any consequences.

That is not the real world. Not only that, but if we spent more time enjoying what we are doing besides tweeting about it, we would enjoy our lives a whole lot more. I have very little free time and the moments that I do have I should be spending with my family and friends and loving every minute of their company.

Now of course rumors have been started that Liam is the reason that I deleted my twitter. I hope my true fans know how stupid that is. I had mentioned to him that someone made a fake twitter with his name and we both starting chatting about how ridiculous it is. Liam is a wonderful friend and he did not try to make me delete my page, he just helped me realize how much time I was wasting on that site.

So while twelve year old girls with inappropriate amounts of computer access all over the world are hoarding OTC pain relievers and BIC razors in their bedrooms in an attempt to “end it” because they can no longer cyber-stalk their favorite star, Miley’s off, ya know, just bein’ Miley. Now seriously… we’ve heard enough.

Yesterday Miley Cyrus put a video up on her YouTube account to clear up the rumors on why she shut down her Twitter account. While it was widely speculated that she quit the social networking site to please her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth, Miley says he has nothing to do with it. Simply put: She felt it was taking up too much of her time and just feeding the tabloids. Her choice to explain all of this through a rap is very… 1990 feeling. Couldn’t she have one of her band members whip up something a little more interesting than this?

Miley quit Twitter last night, giving up over one million followers, all because her new boyfriend told her to.  I can’t really believe this is news, but frighteningly enough, there’s 1.2 million devastated tweens out there right now.

Cyrus is reportedly dating her The Last Song costar, 19 year-old Liam Hemsworth.  Though their relationship may be new, he obviously already has control over her.  Her last Tweet read “FYI Liam doesn’t have a Twitter and he wants ME to delete mine with good reason.”  Really, Miley?  You’re quitting Twitter because a guy told you to?  Quit because it’s lame, quit because it doesn’t improve your life in any way, quit because you can’t stand to read stupid, aimless ramblings from the likes of Tila Tequila and John Mayer.  Don’t give up things you enjoy for some random dude.

Yes, the 25 year old woman in me knows better than to call a teenage girl a slut, but to hell with it: Miley Cyrus was treating the Jumbotron camera at her Las Vegas show like it was the iSight camera on her Mac Book and she was doing another half-naked pic session for one of those Jonas Brothers.

The video above, which is VERY shaky by the way, flashes to Miley at the :12 mark mugging to the camera whilst squatting and baring some serious cleavage. If it’s not clear why this is totally uncomfortable, listen to the reaction of the girl operating the camera.

Miley isn’t much more promiscuous seeming than your average 16 or 17 year old girl, but let’s face it: Homegirl is a Christian Disney star who’s built her name off being a down home family kinda girl. The thought that Billy Ray was likely back stage watching this (as well as Miley’s older brother Trace, whose band Metro Station is opening for her on tour), quite simply makes me want to vom.

It will be a brief cameo, but still! Miley Cyrus is about to appear in a movie with the word “sex” in the title. While rumors have been circulating that Miley may have something to do with the new flick for some time, things were up in the air due to her hectic schedule. However, it’s just been confirmed that Miley will have a role in Sex and the City 2.

The scene that Miley will appear in is a undetermined red carpet event that both she and Samantha attend wearing the exact. same. dress. The horrors! The gag is that Miley looks extremely hot and young compared to the aging Samantha, whose menopause was a hot topic in the first film. Mario Cantone’s character, Anthony, upon seeing Miley gasps “Mother of God:  She is wearing the same dress as Hannah Montana.” As of right now Miley doesn’t have any speaking parts, but I doubt that she’ll remain a featured extra for long.

What do I think about this development? I think it’s probably good thing for a film that’s going to already suck. As a huge fan of the series, I was mortified by the movie, which I felt more or less detracted from the message of the first show and mocked the audience. However, now that a new generation of viewers has grown to love the series via watered down TBS reruns, I’m sure Miley will help sell more tickets.

I’m trying to decide what my favorite moment of the Teen Choice Awards was. Fox actually cut one of my favorite moments, where Dane Cook asked where Vanessa Hudgens was, she raised her hand, and then he told her she needed to put some clothes on. It’s in the clip above. Ahhhhhh ha ha ha ha ha! OMG that’s so funny, Dane! Get it? Because she’s had naked photo scandals twice now? I can’t think of a wittier approach to the situation. I love this clip not because it disses Vanessa (I don’t really care about that), but because it makes Dane Cook look like the lame douche that he is.

My other favorite is the clip below, where Miley Cyrus practically confesses her desire to lick Britney Spears’ feet as she presents her with the Ultimate Lord of the Universe and All of Time and Space and Malibu surfboard, and then Britney comes on stage with half a broom stuck on top of her head and runs away from Miley as quickly as possible. She then mumbles like two sentences into the microphone as quickly as she possibly can and gets offstage as fast as possible, like her Xanax is going to turn into a pumpkin if she doesn’t take it before midnight. In fairness: her legs look amazing the whole time.

First off, let me say this: Miley Cyrus was not pole-dancing at the Teen Choice Awards last night (the actual show airs tonight). But unless Fox opts to cut away for the part around 1:08 in the above video, that’s all anyone’s going to be talking about tomorrow. Let me tell you what I assume happened: Miley was supposed to ride around the stage in that stupid pushcart and maybe do a few dance moves. The pole was on the pushcart so she didn’t fall off. Miley got on the pushcart, grabbed the pole, and immediately started to grind on it, almost like a reflex. Then she heard the audience’s reaction and she was like, “Oh, shit, I shouldn’t be grinding on a pole at the Teen Choice Awards. I should save that shit for Nick. Or Justin. Or whoever I’m sleeping with right now. I forget. Bradley Cooper’s pretty hot. Wait? Where am I?” and by the time that little reverie was over she was already off the pushcart.

Guarantee you that little move wasn’t in the original choreography.

Still. I ::heart:: this girl so much. Years and years of fun, she’s gonna be.
