The folks at Funny or Die sent this clip over of Mandy Moore doing a spoof ad for Red Bull Douche:  two of Beet’s favorites — Red Bull and Mandy Moore.  I have no idea how she feels about douches.  

I cannot tell a lie:  I thought Mandy was fairly entertaining which is, you know, out of character for her.  Could the most annoying M&M ever be growing on me?

I know we’ve got some Mandy lovers around here, so even though I’ve recently decided that listening to her is akin to chewing on tin foil, here is the audio of her new song, “Everblue.”  The new, mature me realizes that we don’t have to all like the same things and if chewing on tin foil makes you happy, you should have such joy in your life.  So, chew away!  enjoy!

I never understood Beet’s dislike for Mandy Moore but I’m starting to get it.  She — Mandy, that is — is kind of an idiot.

In a new People magazine interview, and I don’t know why they are talking to her to begin with –some nonsense about a new album she’s releasing that no one is going to buy — like zOMG, Mandy just can’t believe she got married!  “It still feels not entirely real. Things are wonderful, and there’s such a peaceful settledness [She couldn't have said "contentment"?] about it. But sometimes I can’t wrap my head around it. It seems bizarre but really cool at the same time, like, ‘Wow – I did that!’  I’m enjoying life, but I was enjoying it before [marriage] too.  It’s not like, ‘Oh, my life is complete now.’ I just have this extra incredible bonus of my best friend in the whole world, getting to spend every day with him.”  Don’t you just want to scream right now?  Have you reached your MM quota for the year day?

Yes, Mandy.  The rest of the world can’t believe it either.  They also can’t believe there was someone out there who was willing to marry your completely irritating ass.

“I found myself in the company of Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera, who had really quality music, much more so than mine. I’m sure there are people scratching their heads, going ‘Wow, how is she still around?’”

Total suckfest Mandy Moore, talking about her career in the late ’90s to Details magazine. Mandy also swears a bunch and takes off a lot of her clothes for the piece, which exists to promote her new album, Amanda Leigh, where she claims she’s doing music she really believes in. I’m sure that means it’ll suck even more than her past albums.

When I posted two days ago about DJ AM cheating death again, you know-the story TMZ posted today as “breaking news”, a few commenters got on this whole “things happen in threes,” deal.  And you were right.

He cheated death once, last September.  The second close call was just a few weeks ago.  And I really consider his ex, Mandy Moore, marrying Ryan Adams yesterday as dodging a serious bullet.

So there you go!  He’s had his three brushes with death and now can go on to live a happy and healthy life.  Rejoice!

Since we know Beet despises Mandy Moore with the heat of a thousand suns, and she probably spontaneously combusted when she heard the news, I’ll take this one.

Mandy Moore is now engaged to on and off musician boyfriend, Ryan Adams.  They dated, broke up, she re-hooked up with DJ AM after his near-fatal plane crash.  Moore and Adams broke up the first time because he claimed to be allergic to the paparazzi.  I’m not sure what’s changed but now they are back on in a big, marrying sort of way.

Congrats to the happy couple!

Why do I hate Mandy Moore so much?

Oh, I don’t know.

Maybe because when her fashion line, Mblem, shut its doors this week, this was her statement:

“I love the fashion world. I’m fascinated by it. I’m humbled by it. If I were to dip my toe back in there, it would have to be the right situation… a great partnership that could represent a true reflection of me and my ideas and, you know, that wasn’t happening. So next go round, that needs to be top of the list.”

It’s the way she talks.

It’s so douche-y. So holier-than-thou. I dunno. Everything about her annoys me so much.

So, ya know, I’m happy that her clothing line is over, but annoyed to hear that she’s working on a new album of a California ’70s-inspired pop.

I hope it fails!

Of course they broke up again.  Travis Barker and Shana Moakler need to take note.  Because even if you skid off a runway and have critical burns and almost die, it doesn’t make you any more compatible with an ex.  I don’t know why people think near death experiences are a sign from God to go recommit the same mistakes.  Like He sits up there saying “I’m giving you this second chance at life so you can fail, yet again, at the same relationship.”

I am happy to report that DJ AM is now dating some American Apparel model chick which hopefully will thwart any future reconciliation attempts with that other one.

Yes, this is Mandy Moore from seven years ago, but I can’t pass by an opportunity when I see the two most irritating women in Hollywood in the same picture.  I’m not that strong.

We’ve heard lots of rumors recently that DJ AM and Mandy Moore have reignited their romance, and the two were spotted together this weekend, when Mandy Moore hosted at PURE and AM was the DJ. I wonder if he flew there … either way, it’s good to see he’s back on his game.

Mandy, on the other hand, still just annoys me. And I still don’t know why. Doesn’t she just look annoying? Like the kind of girl who mentions to the teacher that the clock’s running ten minutes fast, and it’s not time to let us out yet. And you just wanna smack her. I also hate her outfit and her shoes here.

Also there: Jeremy Jackson, who … uh … has seen better days.

There’s nothing like a near-fatal plane wreck to remind you of what’s really important: having sex with Mandy Moore.

DJ AM has reportedly rekindled the flame with Mandy, who was by his side after the accident.

“It’s back on,” says a source close to AM. “Since the accident, it’s blossomed into something again. Mandy said, ‘I like this guy a lot and I want to see where it can go again. Life is too short to not be with someone you really care about.’”

The twosome were spotted out and about at an event in Bev Hills last week. “He was holding her hand, and they were rubbing each other’s backs,” says a spy.

Aw, I actually don’t hate this pairing. Normally I hate everything about Mandy Moore, but if she can help Adam get through this horrible time, then I’ll cheer her on.

Photogs caught Mandy Moore leaving the Doctors Hospital in Augusta, Georgia, where she’s visiting her former flame, Adam Goldstein (aka DJ AM).

Aw, what a sweetheart. My hatred for Mandy has been lifted, but just for today. I reserve the right to reclaim it whenever I see fit.
