Is it just me or has anyone else noticed this? Like, we never, ever get a really good look at Lady Gaga’s face. There is always something covering it. We can stare into her inner thighs day after day like Michelangelo painted cherubs over her stray pubic hairs, but we can’t ever just see her face. I know I sound like her doddering grandmother right now, but I really wish that, just once, she could show up and try to be pretty for once.

Here’s Gaga reppin’ at some random event involving Best Buy that clearly necessitated sunglasses.

Adam Lambert’s debut album, For Your Entertainment, drops next week, and early reviews are in, and they’re awesome.

Says the Associated Press:

This vocal chameleon can be all things to all listeners, and he kills at whatever he sings. Lambert is equally adept at hard rock, pop, disco, and power ballads, often blending ingredients of several in a single track to produce unforgettable results.

The LA Times is less blatantly enamored, but still positive:

“For Your Entertainment” is a polished affair, but stylistically, it shows Lambert running loose like a kid in a Comme des Garçons store. With the Hollywood pop A-list at his disposal, he chose to go for it all: The only names missing from his list of collaborators are those firmly in the R&B camp (wouldn’t it be great if he worked with fellow drama club type Ne-Yo?) The results on “FYE” are inevitably mixed, but never a bummer; Lambert’s deft enough to avoid getting stuck in any one of the tropes he explores.

And Lady Gaga’s latest album, The Fame Monster, is streaming on Rhapsody for a full week before its store release. I’ve been listening to it like a freakin’ crack addict. Lady Gaga, famous singer who probably has a penis, claims that her lil sis is a huge Gossip Girl fan, so I’m sure she’ll be psyched to see what it looks like when her older, transgendered sister hits the stage at some club on the show. I can’t be bothered to watch Gossip Girl. I don’t like any television shows that were made after 1997, so my opinion doesn’t really matter here, but from the sneak peak above, it sure does look like a bunch of privileged kids are really enjoying watching this hermaphrodite sing her heart out while dressed like Boy George after he’s been put in the blender. Hooray for Hollywood!

And you know what? I love it. Is it un-hip in the world of snark to love Lady Gaga? Maybe, but I kind of do. I love this song, and I love the creative fashion in this video. I sometimes get annoyed with her running off to parties and awards shows in her avant-garde garb, but a music video is exactly where that shit belongs, and she pulls it off here with panache. The bathtub scene kind of reminds me of that scene in Britney’s “Everytime” video, but much cooler. And make sure to stay tuned until the last shot, which is hilarious and awesome.

Can someone tell me what she’s saying during the French part? Is that even French? I took a semester in college, but, ya know, I was pretty drunk in college. Actually, I took that final wasted — because who the fuck schedules a final exam at 8:30 pm on a Friday and expects a 19-year-old me to show up sober, right? — and got the highest score in the class. I was, like, Parisian that night. I do much better with foreign languages when I’m drunk, apparently. But I’m sober right now, so I have no idea what she’s saying.

I go back and forth between hating Lady Gaga and not being able to deny her catchy songs, but generally I think her over the top, dramatic costumes and stage shows are getting both played out and boring to watch. Being “different” can only be done so many times before it starts to be “the same”, right?

That’s how I feel about this clip from her new video “Bad Romance”. The costumes are over the top, the single sounds synthetic and poppy. Basically, it’s exactly what we’ve already seen all over again. Fans of Gaga might find that this is exactly the type of video they are hoping to get from their favorite artist, but for those of us out there who could still use some conversion, she’s not exactly selling anything new.

I don’t think we’ll see anything like this from her any time soon, but I would love it if Lady G took her (supposedly) great voice and did something mellow and simple with both her song and her video a la Sinead O’Connor and the “Nothing Compares to You” video. If she could still make a splash while cutting back on all the flair, that would be something to talk about.

Betsey Johnson made an appearance at Monday night’s ACE awards and she didn’t disappoint.  As always, she made sure that nothing on her body matched and even gave her ass an advertising opportunity.  It is her style.

Christian Siriano was looking tame and Diane von Furstenberg was looking sensational considering that she was mugged in Spain just a couple days ago.  Marc Jacobs showed up in a kilt and Lady Gaga was questioned in the burglary of Christina Aguilera’s face and Mischa Barton’s thighs.

Last night at the 13th Annual Human Right Campaign Dinner, which supports equal rights for all citizens, Lady Gaga took to the stage to do a cover of the John Lennon classic “Imagine”. Before her performance she said “I’m here tonight to represent those young people that are taking a stand and are going tomorrow to march with all of us.” The march, of course, is the National Equality March in Washington DC, which specifically is supporting the right for all US citizens to enter in to marriage with whomever they choose.

Her rendition of the song is only decent, but worth checking out.

And of course, they make out at the end. Well… almost.

I think Gaga totally outshone Madge in the comedic acting department. But hey, when you’re that famous, you don’t have to be funny. People will still cheer for you.

Even though she murdered herself on stage the other night at the VMAs and then later dressed like the abominable snowman, Lady Gaga has now decided that she’s not going to answer certain questions in interviews. What kind of questions? Well, mainly those about her weenis. You know, her weenis. The one that we’ve all seen all over the Internets.

Apparently now she so can’t be bothered to answer questions about the subject of whether or not she’s a hermie that she had a German reporter booted from a recent press conference for daring to get to the bottom of things. Collien Fernandes from the Viva, which I guess is some popular German-based network, was the one who asked the question we were all wondering by saying to the diva, “I love your Marc Jacobs outfit, you look great. I do have one question for you though – have you got a penis or not?” I mean, that’s not that bad, right? At least he softened the blow with a compliment.

GaGa immediately had the reporter removed, and when speaking to the cameras later he said “I don’t really understand the fuss. It’s obvious someone would ask her this question after the picture was all over the news,” and I couldn’t agree more that the question was not only completely in-line, but it’s what everyone wants to know. Perhaps Gaga wants to leave this mystery just that for as long as possible in order to keep her name in the papers?

In a new Daily Mail interview, Lady Gaga confesses that she used to be a coke addict who snorted “bags and bags of cocaine” before she became famous.  Earlier this year, she even credited cocaine for inspiring the fashions she wears.

GaGa, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, said:’My father is a really powerful man, a telecom guy. So he looked at me one day and said, “You’re f***in’ up, kid.” And I looked at him and thought, “How does he know that I’m high right now?” 

‘And he never said a word about the drugs, not one word. But he said, “I just wanna tell you that anyone you meet while you’re like this, and any friend that you make in the future while you are with this thing, you will lose.”

‘And we never talked about it again.’

The 23-year-old began taking cocaine regularly in 2005 after dropping out of a music course at New York University to find fame. 

“My cocaine soundtrack was The Cure. I loved all their music, but I listened to this one song on repeat while I did bags and bags of cocaine.

She said: ‘I didn’t think there was anything wrong with me until my friends came over and said, ‘Are you doing this alone?’ “Um, yes. Me and my mirror”.’

‘But I was able to stop, because I was panicking more on the drugs than I was sober. So I’m fine now.

As far as the singer’s health today, she says that she is no longer an addict though she still likes to “party” and drink.  It’s pretty clear that Gaga’s record label just wants her to shut up about her powdery past.  ”The label gets mad at me for talking about it – they say, ‘We don’t want people to think that you’re not a pop star.’  But I am a pop star. I’m a pop star with a story!”

A few months ago, Sasha posted this video of Gaga performing at a concert in which a tiny, remnant penis appears to peek out from under her skirt at about the 1:00 mark. Rumors began to spread faster than Gaga’s legs at an afterparty that the singer is actually a hermaphrodite. One gossip site even quoted Gaga as saying, “I’m sexy, I’m hot. i have both a poon and a peener. big f*cking deal.”

But it turns out that the Lady’s vagina is highly offended by those rumors. During an interview on an Australian radio morning show, the host asked Gaga about the recent rumors concerning her below-the-belt multitool. Gaga responded, “My beautiful vagina is very offended. I’m not offended—my vagina is offended.”

Her manager has also called the rumors “ridiculous.”

Penis or no penis: Does it really matter? The longer rumors like this circulate, the longer she’ll stay in the public spotlight. Perhaps they only serve to contribute to the outlandish persona she’s trying to cultivate? So, are rumors like this hurtful? Or helpful? Or just pointless?

Honestly, I don’t really know why anyone feels like discussing someone else’s genitalia, unless they have a vested personal interest (i.e. they’re about to go in their mouth.)
