Sorta-new Hollywood couple Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard giggle over a text message at LAX, after spending the weekend in Detroit.

It’s nice to see that Dax has found a new love after Kate Hudson systematically crushed his heart during her Kate Hudson Tour of Systematic Heart-Crushing earlier this year.

No luck so far for Owen. We haven’t seen much of him lately. I hope no news is good news!

No, not really. She’s filming a little movie called “When in Rome” with Josh Duhamel. Has the universe made a decision yet as to whether she’s allowed to be a movie star? I’m firmly undecided, she seems a lot like a bunch of other actresses. My money is still on Heigl because she’s mean like a snake.

“HEROES” star Kristen Bell doesn’t want any events being promoted on the back of her latest relationship. Bell has been trying to hide from photographers while out in LA with latest fling, comic Dax Shepard. An insider told us, “Kristen is taking Dax as her New Year’s Eve date to the Raleigh Hotel in Miami.” Bell, who recently kicked her director fiancé Kevin Mann to the curb, is insisting that any promotions for the party don’t list the duo as a couple. Our source said, “She told event people they can put either her or Dax on the party announcements – but not both of them.”

OMG, Kristen. I’m sure you’re a very nice girl, but that’s sort of the problem: You’re a very nice girl. You look nice in a bikini. But it’s not like you’re a mainstay around here, and it’s not like Dax Shepard is all that famous, either. In fact, I can’t name a damn thing he’s done other than bang Kate Hudson for five minutes earlier this year. Why would anyone care?

Or maybe she’s just trying not to rub it in for her ex-fiance. In that case, that’s nice of you, dear.

“We realized we were wearing the same shoes! I did a one-two switcheroo and put on my other favorite pair!”

She’s a pretty girl, and a talented actress, but she just doesn’t get into any trouble. She shows up on a different red carpet every night (trust me, I look through all the photos every morning), but no one ever runs the photos or writes anything about her.

Plus she’s 27, so she’s like five or six years too old for us to start caring about her.

But we get to care today, because she’s talking about Hayden Panettiere and her (non-) relationship with Milo Ventimiglia.

They’re just great friends,” she told OK! magazine. “They’re not dating.”

As for her own love life? (I guess the interviewer felt obliged to ask her.)

“I’m taking single life moment by moment. It’s uncomfortable for me because I haven’t been single in a long time. I’m a homebody. I’m a Blockbuster girl at heart.”

You know what you need to do, don’t you, Kristen? To solve your love life problems and the fact that the tabloids don’t give a shit about you?
