No wonder the prenup took so long!  I didn’t realize this, but Khloe Kardashian married into royalty, y’all!

Last night the newly-minted couple appeared at a Kitson event, and Lamar was asked if he wanted more kids.  I’d like to take this moment to mention that Khloe hasn’t even met Lamar’s pre-existing little princes and princesses.  And how the hell do you marry someone when you haven’t even observed how they interact with your kids?  Okay, so about having kids with Khloe, Lamar replied “That’s what kings and queens are put on the earth for, to have offspring.”

Kings and queens?  Really Lamar?  Because I’m already sick of you both and seriously considering a way to overthrow you and your kingdom.

It’s not in writing yet, but it seems that Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian have reached an agreement that they both can live with in the event of their likely their eventual a divorce.  A deal should be signed this week.  Let’s get this marriage legal!

The exact terms aren’t being disclosed, but TMZ reports that KK won’t have claim to the money that Lamar earns during their marriage.  She will be entitled to an annual lump sum and a pricey little shack that Lamar is purchasing.  Sigh … isn’t it romantic once all the assets are assigned?

Khloe Kardashian will be on The View Friday talking about the horrible separation anxiety that she’s been suffering since she had to travel to New York to co-host the talk show.  She hasn’t spent more than two nights away from her husband in their entire six-week relationship, guys!

Anyway, KK didn’t have a laptop so Lamar suggested that she grab a MacBook so they could iChat.  She went to buy one at 1 a.m. in Manhattan as a means of keeping in touch, since the phone is obviously too inconvenient.  I hope she enjoys that computer and I hope she remembers to add it to the prenup that they are still trying to draft.

Overall, they are still in the early days of dating where you just want to be in contact every second.  They are still learning so much about one another, such as their stances regarding politics, religion and child-rearing — all the topics that two people should discuss in the infancy of their relationship instead of say … china patterns.

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odem are still waiting to iron out their prenups once and for all before sealing the deal officially on their marriage. While the two were spotted yesterday at LAX before Khloe left town, Odem was spotted heading in to his lawyers office later that afternoon to take care of some serious paperwork.

While Lamar has yet to comment on the prenup (because, well, that’d be just straight up awkward), sources close to the baller say that he’s making sure that all assets that he acquires are 100% his. Frankly, I’m not so sure what’s wrong with that. Both have established their careers before they entered in to the relationship, and while Khloe certainly has a lot to gain from Lamar’s bank account, I doubt that losing him all together is worth any money she could potentially secure.

Something hasn’t sounded right about this quickie wedding between Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom since the rumor of them marrying surfaced, oh, a week ago.  Like, why the rush?  She isn’t pregnant — she hasn’t even dated this guy long enough to get a positive result on an E.P.T. yet — so why not date for a few minutes?  It’s like E! pushed so hard for this wedding so it could be the season premiere of Keeping Up With The Kardashians — and offering to foot the bill certainly helped with the push — that they forgot that people’s actual lives were involved.

Anyway, not shocking, but click here to listen to the tape of E! producers discussing exactly when Khloe should tell her step-father Bruce Jenner that she considers him to be her real father.  Also, there’s a bit of back and forth on how many steps Khloe should take.

In other words, this media spectacle appears to be just that:  another high-profile, glossy set.

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odem may have had their wedding ceremony on Sunday, but as far as the law is concerned, the two aren’t married.The pair has yet to obtain their marriage license because there’s still some ironing out to do on the pre-nup front and things are getting kind of ugly. Lawyers for each party are going head-to-head to make sure that their client isn’t screwed over should a divorce happen. Odem’s lawyer has apparently brought an agreement to the table that Kardashian’s lawyer doesn’t seem to find agreeable at all.

While comment from either party has yet to be released, I can only imagine that the honeymoon is reeeeeeeeeal awkward.

I don’t know about you, but I’ve certainly had fun watching the Khloe Kardashian wedding registry be reported every step of the way. One day TMZ was excitedly reporting the addition of a panini maker to their Williams-Sonoma wish list and the next day they’re letting us know that all that’s been scooped up by wedding guests is a set of bowls and a lousy cheese knife. However, we’ve got another update and this one is all too telling.

Turns out that the majority of the gifts that have been purchased from Geary’s in Beverly Hills for Kardashian and her hubby to be, Lamar Odom are alcohol related. The round-up from TMZ is as follows:

Those are definitely more pricey items than the shot glasses from the Chicago airport gift shop and handful of wine keys leftover from my days waiting tables in college, but I guess these gifts make sense for the couple that racked up a $3,000 bar tab on their first date (Gee! I wonder if they slept together that night…)

Kelly told you this weekend that Khloe Kardashian — the fat one according to Kim — was engaged to NBA player Lamar Odom.  She also predicted a pretty quick divorce, but I don’t think any of us could have anticipated just how quickly these two idiots would be getting hitched.  After one month of dating, the two are marrying.  This weekend.  And this isn’t some Star magazine item.  This is People, so it must be true.

The wedding plans are being thrown together this week and formal invitations are going to be delivered.  I hope they’re taking some time to swing by the attorney’s office for a pre-nup.

Lay it on me.  I want to hear all the “My parents married on their first date and have been together for 34 years” stories.  Go.

Khloe Kardashian has gotten engaged to her pro-basketball playing L.A. Lakers boyfriend Lamar Odom. As far as quickie engagements go, this one’s fairly rapid- the two have only been dating for about a month.  As far as rushed wedding plans go, this one ranks right up there on the backwoods, banjo-raping, shotgun marriage level of speed.

“Khloe and Lamar want to get married before Lamar has to go away for training, and the [basketball] season starts up [this fall],” a source tells Us of Kardashian, 25, and Odom, 29, who met at a party in L.A.

“They are hoping to pull together a wedding within the next two weeks so they can get married and have time for a honeymoon,” continues the source. “They haven’t decided where they will say ‘I Do,’ but they are scouting out numerous locations, including Khloe’s family home in Calabasas, [Calif.].”

Earlier this month, Odom gushed to Us that he was “very happy” with the star of Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami.

“Khloe is smart and beautiful and that is very hard to find,” he added.

I’d like to offer them my sincerest congratulations on their happy engagement.  Given the speed at which this relationship is traveling, I’ll also go ahead and offer them my sincerest condolences on the divorce.

Hey kids! So, I’m in NYC right now, having a blast and chasing down stories. I attended a party tonight for 3 Olives and the launch of their new bubblegum-flavored vodka. I didn’t try it, but the verdict was that it was “weird but good.” Go figure. Or just go buy a bottle.

Kim Kardashian was hosting the event, so I got a chance to speak with her. We talked about Paris Jackson’s moving speech at her father’s memorial (you can view it here) and Kim weighed in with some of her own experience. “I spoke at my father’s funeral,” she said, referring to the late Robert Kardashian, “and that was the hardest thing I had to do, and I was 22, and she’s only 11. I just thought it was really brave of her. But it was really something she wanted to do. She wasn’t scheduled to talk, but you could very much see that day that she wanted to say something to all the people. She was standing on the side saying she wanted to speak. I was so glad that I spoke at my father’s funeral, even though I was really nervous and thought I couldn’t do it, but that one opportunity to speak your mind is so important, and she lived in the moment.”

So what’s up next for Kim?

“I’m producing my own shows,” she says. “I think that’s the next step for me, getting in the background and producing. I love the whole process of making a show, creating a show and seeing it come to life. There’s a competition-type show, a reality show, there’s a few that I have in the works.”

I really wanted to show you guys what a red carpet looks like from a reporter’s perspective. These things are INSANE. So I took video of Kim & Khloe doing the carpet. The audio is relatively quiet in the video, but in person it’s just deafening screams coming from every direction yelling at every person about everything. It’s a total madhouse. Every time I see one of things things in person it just blows me away. That said, all the reporters and photographers on the carpet got along really well this time, and I met some fantastic folks from People, Star, Life & Style and E!, all of whom were covering the event as well. I made friends! And we all sat there and made fun of the celebs when we weren’t talking to them. I have found my people.

Heh.

I know I mention on here occasionally just how freakin’ dumb the photo agencies are. Every single day, I see photos from these people that are mistagged or misspelled or just plain wrong. It’s like, “You were right there. How on earth did someone convince you that the teenage girl in the apron is Matt Damon? Do you even know what Matt Damon looks like?” But I deal with it, because they’re a part of this job.

Every now and then, though, there’s a little typo that’s really a true gem — and you have to wonder if it’s genuinely a typo or if they just know something you don’t. Above find my favorite of the year so far.
