Oh, this is rich. In a new interview with Parade magazine, the increasingly normal-seeming Katie Holmes announces that Tom’s two adopted children — from his marriage to Nicole Kidman, call her “Mom”:

His first two children are incredible, really smart and kind. They call me “Mom.”

Nicole’s the same woman who recently talked about how very, very sad she’d be if she couldn’t have a biological kid. If I were one of her adopted kids, I wouldn’t want to call that woman “Mom,” either.

Katie and Suri are back in LA, and,they decided to swing by The Grove on Friday. Looks like they did some shopping at Pottery Barn Kids.

It seems like Suri’s getting more comfortable around the cameras, and she sure is photogenic.

The Spice Girls had some surprise visitors at rehearsals in LA recently when Hollywood stars Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes along with baby Suri stopped by to wish them luck for the forthcoming tour.

Tom and Katie enjoyed an impromptu audience with the girls and were treated to an exclusive performance, while Suri danced along to the music.

“David and I are great friends with Tom and Katie,” Victoria told us afterwards “It was lovely of them to come down to rehearsals, a really nice surprise. Katie has told me before that she used to be a big Spice fan so it was great for her to meet the other girls.”

Hey, guys, remember that one time that Katie Holmes looked like she was the same height as Tom Cruise?

That was weird.

Thankfully, it’s all over now.

And how fucking amazing does Katie look these days???

Ms. Katie Holmes completed the 26.2 mile course in 5 hours, 29 minutes and 58 seconds. It won’t qualify her for Boston, but it’s a full three days faster than I could do it. Unless I tried to use the subway system as a shortcut, in which case just go ahead and add twelve days to my time. I did not fare well on the NYC subways.

Tom and Suri were at the finish line to congratulate her and escort her back to the cage where she’s kept when not appearing healthy and independent for the media.
