I had no idea that Iron Maiden was still touring. The most I know about Iron Maiden is from that Wheatus song, “Teenage Dirtbag,” which I’m posting the video for here because that song rocks, and the video has Jason Biggs and Mena Suvari in it. This is the censored version, where they blank out the word “gun” in “he brings a gun to school,” because we all know that school violence is a direct symptom of alt-rock lyrics. Thank you, FCC, for so bravely preventing another Columbine. If we spend all our time focusing on removing even the most innocuous references to violence from the songs we hear on the radio, we’ll find we won’t have any time at all to tackle any of the real reasons we see violence in our schools, which is a good thing, because doing that would be hard.

Kate Hudson is hanging out in Toronto with Lance Armstrong and his three kids — son Luke and twin girls Isabelle and Grace. On Fathers Day, she took the kiddos out to get some ice cream. Damn, sucking up to the kids already? Kate must be really into this dude.

WHA WHA WHAAAATTT??? Well, multiple sources are saying it’s true, including US Weekly and Yahoo! I, for one, am ecstatic about the couple’s possible reunification! There have been reports from friends stating they are definitely ‘hooking up’ and Owen’s car has been spotted parked outside Miss Hudson’s home! YAY! Now I can stop feeling so awful for Mr. Wilson. Maybe this will bring him a little happiness? I’m still a little upset with Kate . . . I think she should have rushed to Owen’s side and made EVERYDAY steak and BJ day after his suicide attempt. Instead, she dilly-dallied and made another crappy movie with Mathew McConaughey. I bet MAD MONEY that Owen and Kate have had numerous arguments on that relationship . . . ‘but we’re just friends!’ blah blah blah. Yeah right, you know Mathew wants a piece. Whatevs though, that may just be me.

In an upcoming interview with Vogue, Kate Hudson talks about Owen Wilson for the first time since his suicide attempt.

“Owen is such a lovely person, and I love him dearly,” she says. “And I wish him beautiful things — health and everything that he desires in life.”

She also talks about her divorce from Chris Robinson last year, saying “We had Ryder, and we both sort of looked at each other and went, ‘Something’s off.’” She called the divorce “the most difficult thing I’ve ever done in my life. The process of discovering with somebody that you love that you don’t work is so painful. And thank goodness I did it with Chris. We helped each other through it. Now we’re both single and since the day we separated, we talk multiple times.”

Kate Hudson and her ex-hubby, Chris Robinson, spend some time as a family in NYC with their son, Ryder Russell Robinson.

I gotta hand it to Kate. Say what you want about her, she does seem to put an awful lot of effort into being a good mommy.
