Kate Hudson oils up for December’s issue of Elle mag and is finally talking a little bit about boyfriend Alex Rodriguez.  Really, all she did was deny that the two are engaged which is good news in itself.

In other Kate news, the actress lost twenty pounds for an upcoming role in which she plays a terminally ill patient that falls in love with her doctor and she — Kate, not the terminally ill character, though that would be kinda funny — sends out props for Botox.  “Everyone’s so obsessed with who gets Botox, but it’s great! Are you kidding?  The fact that women can avoid going under the knife and get a little Botox treat and not have to worry about it? I’m glad it’s there for when it’s time.”  Sure, Kate.  It’s good to know that it’s there “for when it’s time.”  Wink.

There are many times in my life when I ignore certain situations in hopes that they’ll just go away.  It’s not a real effective approach with bills, but sometimes it works out okay with unknown rashes.  But, you know what else I keep ignoring that just won’t vanish?  A-Rod and Kate Hudson stories.

So, let’s just put it out there — these two idiots are dating.  Personally, I think it’s a match made in STD heaven, but some of the Yankees’ wives — and you know it’s the Yankees’ wives talking when they are identified in print as “someone connected to the team” — aren’t so delighted.  “First we dealt with all the Madonna mayhem, now we’re on to Kate. It’s distracting.  And they haven’t even been together that long.  It’s not like there’s a problem with wives or girlfriends going to games.  But a lot of us agree that this is a little much. They’re barely dating, and it’s all about Kate.”  

Wow.  Women can be such catty little wenches.

Yes, we’ve firmly established that Kate Hudson’s put on weight this year. And I don’t even think that’s a bad thing. She’s certainly not at any weight even remotely approaching fat. So let’s get this out of the way: I do not think Kate Hudson is fat.

Here’s what I don’t like about it: It looks like beer weight. Her face is expanding at twice the weight of her body, and she’s losing that beautiful glow she always had about her. She’s obviously a girl who puts on weight in her face, but it’s not the healthy, I’m-filling-out-because-I-eat-a-complete-diet look. It’s the I’m-filling-out-because-I-eat-a-complete-case-of-beer-and-then-all-the-Fritos look. Kate looks like she put on the Freshman Fifteen, but she’s 29 years old, and Lord knows she’s never been to college.

I think I’m — dare I say it? — a little bit worried about her. We don’t mind if you put on weight, Kate, but cut it out with the boozing! Not healthy!

But she certainly did look happy last night, enjoying a Lakers game and some junk food with her brother Oliver.

So many times, I read some celebrity item and then never hear or read any follow-up.  So I just shelve it as a Must Have Just Been A Rumor.  Oh, how I wish this were one of those times.  Alas, it is not so.

Owen Wilson and Kate Hudson have been seen biking around Paris this week.  They are totally back together.

In my dating days, I had a rule about reconciliation.  If I hated a guy enough to dump him, there was no need to revisit that relationship.  Ever.  And I really wouldn’t be able to handle the guilt of thinking my boyfriend was going to open a vein if I tired of him.

I’m open-minded though.  Educate me.  Do relationships ever survive a second attempt?  And even such fairy tales exist, do these two numbnuts have what it takes to succeed?

The buzz is that Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson are together yet again. They spent Sunday at Owen’s Malibu home, chilling with Kate’s son, Ryder.

NOTHING GOOD happens when these two reunite. Kate’s been looking like a hot mess lately, and her ex-boyfriend just knocked up his new girlfriend, so you know she’s been hitting the beer and feeling sorry for herself. I’m sure most guys in Hollywood won’t touch her with a 10-foot pole right now, so she’s running to Owen for reassurance.

I dunno, maybe this is all in my head, but it seems like it’s never good for anyone when Owen Wilson and Kate Hudson are dating.

Yahoo! Movies posted a slide show of celebrities entitled “We’re Just Not That Into Them”. Clever, Yahoo. The premise of this list being movies stars that used to be American Sweethearts and now, well, not so much. Some notables from the list:

Honestly, I never though Alba was much of an actress. She’s got the emoting power of a wet sponge. I’m assuming she’s still famous based on her assets as opposed to her uh…talent. She needs to follow Charlize Theron and make a “Monster” or something.

I went from seeing her in “Knocked Up” and being like “awwwww, I want to be her frieeeeend.” To then listening to her whine about misogynistic writers and stage pompous impromptu withdrawals from award consideration. Now I just want to throw a drink on her. 

I mean, sure, Kate Hudson’s put on some weight lately, but I’m not sure her stylists could have done a better job of drawing attention to this fact than with this turquoise potato sack she wore to the People’s Choice Awards. The hair and makeup are a hot mess, too. Lastly: I’m fairly certain she’s drunk.

The whole night was a miss for Kate — oh, except she did win the Favorite Leading Lady Award for her role in My Best Friend’s Girl. I don’t know how that is possible since nobody saw that movie.

The Dark Knight won everything for which it was nominated, including: Favorite Movie, Favorite Superhero, Favorite On-Screen Match Up, Favorite Action Movie and Favorite Cast.

“On behalf of all of the cast from the movie, thank you very much to the fans,” said Christian Bale in his speech. “Here’s to Heath.”

Has anybody else noticed this trend?

When Kate Hudson has a boyfriend, you hardly ever see pictures of her with her son. Once she goes through a high-profile break-up, there are like 1000 pictures of her with Ryder everywhere.

It’s not that I don’t think Kate is an active, involved mother when she has a boyfriend — I think she is — but I don’t think she alerts the paparazzi every time she leaves the house with Ryder until she has a high-profile break-up. It’s like her way of saying, “See? I’m fine. I do have a man in my life. And he’ll never dump me for being too desperate. He won’t even realize what a problem it is for another 15 years or so. How jealous are you now, Lance???”

The Chicago Sun-Times — which broke the news of Kate and Lance’s split — is now reporting that Lance dumped Kate because she was too clingy and needy.

Seems the Tour de France champ and cancer survival poster boy was feeling a bit ‘’smothered” by the actress. According to an Armstrong associate at his Livestrong charity foundation, the sports hero felt Hudson was ”just too needy,” and was coming on ”too strong, too fast … sensing Kate was way too desperate, a woman who clearly can’t be on her own without a man in her life at all times.”

One thing Armstrong reportedly liked about ex-girlfriend Sheryl Crow — and one reason that relationship lasted as long as it did — was that ”Sheryl’s one very independent woman. … Lance liked that,” said the source.

And what did Kate do after the split?

She ran back to her ex-boyfriend!

Word on the street is that Kate Hudson has already moved on after breaking up with Lance Armstrong. She’s reportedly holed up in a cabin in Canada, screwing the brains out of her ex-boyfriend Eric Lindros. She headed up there with him right after she and Lance split.

Can Kate be single for five seconds? Apparently not. This is a young woman who got married at 21, divorced at 27, and hasn’t been single for more than thirty seconds in the two years since her divorce. Insecurity much?

Take a break from it, Kate!

I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. Kate goes through men like Owen Wilson goes through liquor. Did that cross a line? Eh.

Kate Hudson and Lance Armstrong are reportedly splitsville after a three-month whirlwind romance.

“There was no drama or ugliness – They just decided to end things,” said a source. “There is no hatred, just sadness.”

I wonder what went wrong? They both seemed so gung-ho about this.
