In kinda sad news, singer and Dancing With The Stars pro Julianne Hough has split from country singer Chuck Wicks.  I thought these two were an adorable couple that were going to go the distance.  Last December, Hough told People “The minute we met it was perfect.  The first date we had we both had that feeling like we were going to fall in love with each other.”  Sigh.

In much sadder news, after announcing her pregnancy in August, Celine Dion is no longer pregnant.  A family source confirmed that though she and her husband Rene Angelil are “actively trying” they are not expecting at this time.  The loss of a pregnancy is so hard to deal with.  I hope that they will find comfort in all that they do have.

It has been widely reported that the couple conceived their son Rene-Charles as well as the pregnancy that was reported this summer through fertility treatments.  Good luck wishes to the couple in their quest to expand their family.

Maybe it’s just verrrry different makeup, but I hardly recognized Julianne Hough at the Country Music Awards nominations this morning.

Julianne was previously engaged to dancer Zach Wilson.

Julianne Hough is positioning herself as Hollywood’s newest It Girl just waiting to be corrupted.

In a new interview with CosmoGirl, 19-year-old Julianne chats about her ill-fated plans to remain a virgin until marriage.

“I want to be with that special person,” she tells the mag. “I think [the choice] to have sex before marriage is an individual one, but if you’re just with one person, it’s only for one good reason, and [waiting to have sex] will strengthen that relationship. I’m not trying to preach consequences here, but I think when you say no, down the line it will be a better decision … My dad, whom I’m very close with, will text me, ‘Are you doing the right things, in the right place, at the right time?’ And it’s usually when I’m someplace I shouldn’t be. So I’ll call him and say, ‘Thanks, I needed to hear that.’”

Ugh. I hate her already. I can’t wait until she checks into rehab and I can link back to this story and laugh. My dad gave up on that shit with me a long time ago. Now I just get texts from him that read “Are u alive?”

Dancing with the Stars champ Julianne Hough has just inked a deal with Universal Music Group’s Mercury Nashville label and is planning to have a country single released in early 2008.

Isn’t it going to take longer than that to teach her how to sing? Or do we just have technology for that now?

Helio Castroneves, the Brazilian racecar driver who won Dancing with the Stars last night, lost his fiancee in the process.

Less than a day after Castroneves was declared the winner, Aliette Vazquez, a Miami-based business executive, announced she had called off their engagement.

“There’s been a lot of rumors and a lot of stuff said, and she just wanted confirmed that they are no longer engaged. There’s no animosity, there’s nothing mean. Just a simple confirmation,” Vazquez’s publicist, Howard Bragman, told The Associated Press on Wednesday.

“I will tell you (that) we wanted to be respectful and wait until the show was over,” he said. “We did not want to affect the outcome of the show.”

The woman Helio’s pictured with here is not Aliette, but Julianne Hough, his DWTS partner, who’s been linked to everyone under the sun lately, including Helio.

Hm.

Looks like the 33-year-old actor is really going after the 19-year-old dancer.

The Entourage star, 33, recently stopped by Los Angeles’s Tracy Allen Fine Jewelry and plunked down several thousand dollars on a diamond and18-karat, white-gold ring for Dancing with the Stars beauty Julianne Hough.

A store patron says Connolly “knew exactly what he was going to get her and was clear about who it was for.”

Hough even wore the ring on Monday’s performance show, when she and partner Helio Castroneves did the paso doble and the fox trot.

Julianne had her rep be all like, “We’re just friends,” but I think it’s clear that Kevin wants it to be a little something more.

First he dates a 23-year-old Nicky Hilton, then he was linked to 22-year-old Haylie Duff, and now he’s pursuing a 19-year-old dancer?

Watch your step there, Kevin. A couple more girls and you’ll be into jailbait range.
