Stunt-casting much? The cast of Gossip Girl is heading off to college (NYU, ‘natch), and they’ll be joined by Hilary Duff, who’ll be playing Olivia Burke, a famous film star in search of the normal college experience (coughOlsentwinscough). The twist? She’s rooming with Vanessa (Jessica Szohr).

I’m sorry, I’m trying very hard to find an angle to this story that I care about, but it’s not happening. The days of GG are numbered, I’ll tell you that. I can only pray that the nauseating NYC Prep will meet a similar fate, and soon.

Really? How far do we have to push the leggings trend? I’m just kind of afraid that we’re one CW starlet away from using them as condoms. (The leggings, that is, not the CW starlets. Although they’re equally plausible in this context.)

La Lohan hit up a Stand Up for the Cure event in NYC. It doesn’t look like Samantha was there … but Dina was. Ick. I like Samantha WAY better than Dina as a date for Lindsers.

Also there: Jessica Szohr, Aubrey O’Day, Bethenny Frankel, and Julianna Margulies and her ridiculously hot, young lawyer husband. I want to perform open-pants surgery on him.

Well look who showed up front and center at the Charlotte Ronson show at NY fashion week!

The couple created quite the media frenzy, distracting the paps from anyone else present, much to the dismay of model Jessica Stam, Gossip Girl’s Jessica Szohr, and, um, Waldo, who also attended.

Ya know, they might not have called People magazine to give them the exclusive just yet, but I think these two are way over hiding their relationship. They’re obviously “out,” whether or not they’re issuing statements to the press about it. Lindsay looks happier than I’ve seen her in, well, ever, and even Samantha is slowly beginning to look less and less like the creepy girl in high school who you think might be casting spells on you during lunch. I for one am thrilled for them.

I assume it looks like that on purpose …
