People magazine is reporting that Jamie-Lynn Spears, age 16, has been spotted all around Louisiana flashing an engagement ring from baby daddy Casey Aldridge.

“She’s got an engagement ring,” the source says. “She’s been showing it off, talking about it.”

I think I call bullshit on this. I’m not even entirely convinced yet that Casey Aldridge is even the father of JLS’s kid, but we’ll probably never get a paternity test, so I guess I’ll just have to accept not knowing. I think Jamie’s just learning to play her sister’s game — wear a ring, fuck with the media.

She turned into quite the hottie. Almost hotter than Britney in her heyday, if I do say so myself. Too bad she’s going to pop out a bunch of kids and go batshit now.

The 16-year-old celeb sib will appear on the pilot of Miss Guided, a new series for ABC. The series stars Judy Greer — you know, that blonde chick with the skinny nose who always plays the principal character’s best friend? — as “a formerly awkward high school student who returns to her alma mater all grown up — and as a guidance counselor.” Ashton Kutcher is the executive producer on the series, and he’ll apparently also appear in the pilot.

The episode was taped in October. JLS announced she was pregnant in late December. Was she already preggers when the episode taped? It’s anyone’s guess.

I’m still hella sick, but have woken up for half an hour to bring you the exciting news that Jamie-Lynn Spears passed her GED, which basically confirms that you are smart enough to have graduated high school.

In Louisiana, my understanding is that the test consists of a brief series of questions:

1) What is your name?
2) Do you have children?
3) Do you know their names?
4) If you answered yes to (3), please list names.
5) Do you know their fathers’ names? (Nicknames acceptable.)
6) Have you ever been on a 5150 hold?
7) Can you name any President of any country ever? (Just say yes.)

Anyway, it looks like JLS is considering going to college now, too. Says a friend: “She wants to take her ACT. She’s not wasting any time. People don’t know her. When she gets something in her head, she’ll make it happen. Everybody is so supportive of her.”

In the midst of all the Britney insanity, some of us have lost sight of what’s really important in this world: Jamie-Lynn Spears’ 16-year-old ass is still pregnant.

She made her second “public” appearance since announcing her pregnancy, as she took her puppy to the vet on Friday and photogs got snaps of her.

On Saturday and Sunday, JLS went out with her baby-daddy, Casey Aldridge, despite persistent rumors that the two have split. Hand-in-hand, they went to a convenience store Saturday. JLS rocked a white Heineken beer T-shirt (always desperate to be a good role model!) that showed the faintest hint of her growing stomach.

The next day, she and Casey ran errands, stopping to kiss every now and then.

Jamie-Lynn Spears’ Nickelodeon show, Zoey 101, saw ratings double on Friday, for its hour-long season finale, after the 16-year-old announced that she was pregnant.

Hey, Miley Cyrus, you’d better hurry up and get your ass knocked up!

Tragically, she’s wearing a big ole sweatshirt, so you can’t see the bump, but there does appear to be some weight gain here.

These pics were taken on Friday, the same day Brit was admitted to the hospital with a raging case of crazy.

Jamie’s carrying a GED study book — looks like someone’s looking to skip out on the rest of high school.

I guess Jamie-Lynn did make it to the hospital to hang with Brit, and now Access Hollywood is reporting that mom Lynne was basically freaking out on the phone.

She didn’t make much of a statement.

Lynn ‘was extremely distraught, crying on the phone and asking our staff, “Just say prayers.”’

If you guys have time in your prayer schedule, I guess you could pray for Britney, but, most of all, PRAY FOR THOSE KIDS!!!!
