Heh. Harry Potter star Emma Watson starts school at Columbia University in the fall, and her only request? “As long as there are no Harry Potter posters on the wall, I will be fine and happy,” she says. Emma will be going all-out and living in the dorms, and she’s hoping she gets a roommate who isn’t a big Harry Potter fan.

But co-star Daniel Radcliffe hopes otherwise. “I really hope they are a really massive Harry Potter fan,” he joked. “I hope you walk in and the first thing you see is your face on a duvet.”

Mostly, I’m cracking up over the fact that Daniel Radcliffe said “duvet.” I’ve known adult men with families who couldn’t come up with the word “comforter” when describing bedding, let alone “duvet.” I guess it’s a British thing. Still. I think it’s funny.

But hopefully Emma will have a fabulous roommate at Columbia, and hopefully she’ll manage to stick the whole NYC college thing out for more than a year, unlike the Olsens. I think college sounds like a really good idea in theory, but when you’re stuck in your dorm room trying to catch up on 100 pages of American History for your exam tomorrow as your former peers are walking the red carpet and tossing back champagne, it suddenly gets a lot less appealing.

You’ll remember that Emma Watson flashed her underwear at the Harry Potter London premiere the other day.  Last night she appeared on Late Show with David Letterman to explain the wardrobe malfunction.  And, you know, Emma Watson is very charming and beautiful and gracious, but while watching this clip I had only one question that kept running through my mind:  Is her underwear showing?  Again?

Emma Watson, now legal at 19, accidentally flashed the crowds today at the Harry Potter premiere in London.  On a slow news day, this picture would be plastered all over the Internet.  It’s a pretty brilliant move to provide an upskirt (?) on the day of Michael Jackson’s funeral.  So little of the public will ever know that Emma Watson does, in fact, wear undies because we’re all so fixated on the real location of Michael Jackson’s corpse.

In today’s installment of “Love It Or Hate It?” we have the very lovely Emma Watson at a private dinner party wearing a shredded frock.  High fashion or high idiocy?

You know all that bitching we were doing about Angelina appearing at events dressed in what appeared to be belted nightgowns? Well, I think she got tired of it because this is what she wore to The Orange  British Academy Film Awards.

Harry Potter starlet Emma Watson was spotted touring the Harvard campus for most of the day on Tuesday and causing quite a stir among the students.

She was sighted at approximately 10:30 yesterday morning at Quincy House by Chase Russell ’11 and Brian P. Hill ’11.

According to Russell, Watson was with two escorts—one of whom was a Harvard affiliate—and was looking to see a dorm room in New Quincy, passing on the chance to see his Old Quincy room.

Russell, who had a brief chat with Watson, said she seemed “nice” and “very American.”

Hill said he nearly collided with one of Watson’s escorts while leaving the House, before unthinkingly saying he was on his way to class. Watson then went to visit the room of the next student she approached, much to Hill’s chagrin.

“I actually called my mom; I was so distraught,” he said. “It was all I could think about for the entire morning.”

Describing a British actress as “nice” and “very American?” Calling your mom because you may have inadvertently discouraged Hermione from seeing your dorm room?

If this is the kind of brilliance Harvard’s accepting these days, I’d truly hate to see what my alma mater of Arizona State is allowing to seep through its doors. They’re probably just allowing the students’ STDs to take the admissions tests at this point. Because I’ve come across some strains of gonorrhea that could probably do better on the quantitative portion than my sophomore-year roommate.

No, these are not photos of a young girl playing with her grandfather.

They are, rather, photos of 18-year-old Emma Watson (aka Hermione) playing with her 27-year-old boyfriend, Jay Barrymore. This guy cannot be 27. He looks about 45. This shit should be illegal. She looks so young for her age, and he looks so old for his. It’s just disturbing.

The photos were reportedly taken on a recent trip to Ibiza.

Ew, ew, ew, ew, ew.

Um, so, this is kind of a moment where I should pick up the phone and call my boss and be like, “Um … is it okay if I run photos of Emma Watson’s vagina?” Because, like, I’ve kind of gotten in all sorts of trouble for this sort of thing lately.

But I love you guys above all else, and I really think it’s important you have the opportunity to see Emma Watson’s vagina. Better to ask for forgiveness than permission, right?

And you know what’s even better? (And what my management will be very, very happy to hear?)

SHE TURNED 18 ON APRIL 15!!!

Emma hit the town in London this weekend to celebrate her 18th birthday, and, on her way out of the club, gave us a real gift. If this had happened a week ago, I would be HELPLESS here! Helpless, and screaming, and crying, and sitting on these photos and TOTALLY UNABLE TO RUN THEM!!! But today, oh, today I can run them. Thank you to Emma Watson’s parents for conceiving her precisely when they did.

Here is Miss Emma Watson on the red carpet for “Harry Potter: Order of the Phoenix.” I have to say that she really has matured into a lovely young woman. Thankfully they didn’t sex her up too much and opted to give her some light makeup and a cute little dress. They really lucked out that their female lead who they picked when she was a child turned into a bit of a hottie.

I really think the same people that cast this movie helped Angelina Jolie pick her children. How do they know how kids are going to age…seriously I had some friends who were cute as kids turn out to be fugly teenagers.

She is a hot commodity and understandably the bosses at Harry Potter were a bit worried when she threatened to not do the seventh film. She evidently was lured back with two million pounds and I’m guessing that Miss Watson will be doing many more movies in the future.
