E! TV’s Daily 10 host Debbie Matenopoulos and her music executive husband Jay Faires are splitting after five years of marriage.  It’s always sad to see a marriage end.  But you know what’s really sad?  Finding out about it on the ’net.  It seems that Debbie thought they were working things out.  Any by “working things out” I’m sure that means they were still sleeping together even though they separated in March.  Apparently her husband’s idea of resolving their issues was a little more permanent and legally binding.  Cold.

In an interview with People, Debbie said she was “deeply saddened” by her husband’s divorce filing.  I’d imagine pretty pissed off and humiliated too.

I am not a proponent of divorce and I believe in working things out,” says Matenopoulos, a two-time Emmy nominee and former co-host of The View. “So you can only imagine my extreme sadness and disillusionment when I was informed of my husband’s divorce proceedings, much like you were, by reading them online.”
