I think the writers over at Page Six have officially lost their minds.  They did a photo gallery titled “50 Fat Celebrities”.  So, I took a look, and sandwiched in among the likes of Kirstie Alley and Kathy Bates is Elisha Cuthbert.  You know, the hot, blond chick from 24?  I mean, did they just hit a point where they couldn’t think of anyone else so they just threw in some random picture?  Dudes, how about Raven Fucking Symone?  Raven I Love My Curves Symone dodged this bullet and Cuthbert, who admittedly does have some slightly unfortunate knee fat, is one of the top 50 fattest?

I’m feeling kind of depressed today and so did not need to wake up to this.  In fairness, I don’t know how old this picture of Elisha in a bikini is, but I have some in the gallery of Elisha over the past few months.  If this is the definition of fat, I’m scheduling my gastric bypass, stat.  Ah, poetry, and on only two hours of sleep.  You’re welcome.

My other issue is that they had dead dudes on the list like Elvis, Marlon Brando and Orson Welles.  It is my opinion that, once you kick off, you no longer have the privilege of a “Fat Celeb” title.

Other fatty title-holders include Kelly LeBrock, Rachel Hunter, Danielle Fishel and, yup, Jessica Simpson.

The gorgeous host of the Style network’s The Dish — who you probably remember as Topanga from Boy Meets World — got her handprint done in cement for Planet Hollywood yesterday.

I interviewed Danielle awhile back for Film.com (read it here), and I left out a portion of our conversation in my write-up. At some point during our chat, I mentioned how much I hate my natural hair and how jealous I am of hers. Danielle then basically stopped the interview to ask me why I didn’t like my hair, why I didn’t love my body in general, and then spent like five minutes trying to cheer me up, despite me being like “Dude, this interview is supposed to be about you!” It was very refreshing celeb behavior — normally when you bring your own life up AT ALL during celeb interviews, they basically pretend that they didn’t hear it. Seriously. Any comment that is not about the celebrity is just totally ignored — sometimes so much so that it’s comical. So I was really impressed with how gracious and sweet she was, and I’m officially a fan.

As I mentioned earlier, I had the chance to chat last week with Danielle Fishel (aka Topanga Lawrence!), who’s promoting her new show The Dish on the Style network, which premieres this Saturday. The full interview is now up on Film.com (read it here), but here are some excerpts:

Film.com: Katie Holmes has recently been photographed wearing those peg-and-roll jeans, and the LA Times did a piece on how that look is coming back. What’s your take on that?

DF: Awful. Absolutely awful. How do we boycott this? How do we create a rally and say, “We’re not going to take it anymore!” No. I say no. I’m putting my foot down. The real women of the world need to put out a statement saying, “No. We’re not going to accept this. Change to something else. Find a different trend you want us to follow!”

See? Danielle agrees with me!

She also opened up to me about her relationship with Lance Bass, a guy she adores to this day and about whom she has nothing but positive things to say.

Film.com: … You dated Lance Bass before he was openly gay. I just have to ask you: Were you guys sleeping together? What was the physical part of it like for you?

DF: No, we were not sleeping together. We never slept together. I was seventeen. I was a really good girl. I didn’t lose my virginity until much later in life. Lance and I talked about the fact that we weren’t going to sleep together, and his reason was, you know, “I’m always on the road. We don’t get to spend as much time together as we’d like, and this is going to be a really special time in your life. I don’t want to share something that intimate and then take off and leave for a month.” Which, at seventeen years old, I completely respected. We traveled a lot together, once I turned eighteen, and we stayed in the same room, but we never did actually consummate the relationship.

So I just got off the phone with Danielle Fishel (aka Topanga) who’s the host of The Dish, the weekly fashion and entertainment wrap-up show premiering next Saturday on the Style Network.

I can’t remember ever being so excited to do an interview! I called all my girlfriends yesterday like “GUESS WHO I GET TO TALK TO TOMORROW??? TOPANGA!!!” She was my childhood idol.

Danielle was an absolute sweetheart, very gracious and open and easy to talk to, and I got a lot of fun dirt out of her but, most importantly, we spent a good deal of time discussing Katie Holmes and those peg-and-roll jeans. Danielle agrees with me — they are awful. And there you have it, folks — from the host of a show on the Style network. Peg-and-roll jeans are BAD.

Danielle Fishel, who played Topanga on Boy Meets World for seven years, was arrested today in Newport Beach on a drunk driving warrant, when the car she was in was pulled over.

She was released shortly after her arrest.

Oh, I looooooooooved Topanga. I wanted to be just like her when I grew up.

I changed my mind.

I still want her hair, though.
