Chris Brown’s Other Woman Revealed

Wednesday, March 11th, 2009

As you all know, the big fight that exploded between Rihanna and Chris Brown was over a text message.  Chris was texting with another woman about hooking up.  Now, we know who the other woman is-and it’s kind of creepy.

According to TMZ, the other half of the texting duo is forty-year-old Tina Davis, Chris Brown’s manager.  There have been rumors that she and Chris had a relationship three years ago when he was sixteen.  Thinking back to the one sixteen-year-old I’ve ever had sex with, why would anyone voluntarily sign up for that shit in their late thirties?

This video is a couple of years old; I originally put it up so we could see this chick in action.  When I watched it, and I really had no intention of watching seven minutes of this former Def Jam A&R exec, I was kind of cracking up.  It’s so funny how it the video shows her trying to be all high-powered with her “This track is too west coast, annoying.  Rewrite!” juxtaposed with footage of her painting her fingernails like a stereotypical ditzy 1950’s secretary.

Nickelodeon “Stands By” Chris Brown as Nominee

Tuesday, March 10th, 2009

Hmmm.

Despite the fact that he’s currently up on charges of some serious domestic violence, Nickelodeon is keeping Chris Brown on as a nominee for their Kids Choice Awards.

Brown is nominated for favorite male singer and favorite song for “Kiss Kiss.” He’ll be competing in the latter category with Rihanna, who police say was allegedly punched, bitten and choked by Brown last month.

An online petition asking Nickelodeon to remove Brown and Rihanna as nominees had 2,166 signatures Tuesday. Nick says Brown was nominated for his work as a performer, and kids will decide who wins.

I know that in this country we are innocent until proven guilty, but, still. This is a kids‘ show. Are young ‘uns really going to be able to process the legal minutiae of this situation, or is Nickelodeon just sending a loud and clear message that domestic violence is forgivable if you sell enough albums?

What do you guys think??

“She better get the hell out. If she goes back, she’s a loser, and she doesn’t deserve to have any future success.”

Donald Trump, to Inside Edition, about Rihanna and Chris Brown.

Ya know, this is the first time in my whole life that I’m glad Donald Trump didn’t keep his big fat mouth shut. We’re agreed here, Mr. Trump.

Chris Brown Isn’t The Fighting Type

Monday, March 9th, 2009

Chris Brown last December bitching about celebrity bloggers and letting it be known that he and Rihanna don’t fight.  Because, you know, he wouldn’t want to hear about it in the press.  He starts talking about Rihanna at 3:45.

If it’s possible, he sickens me even more.

Rihanna Is Still In So Much Danger

Friday, March 6th, 2009

This whole Rihanna deal is a train wreck that is happening right in front of us.  Like, we are all watching it continue, seeing all the signs and I fear that someday she’ll just end up dead and everyone will be saying “Wow, so sad.”  Overstating things?  I don’t think so.

Rihanna’s father granted US magazine an interview in which he talks about supporting his daughter even though he can’t get in contact with her:

US: What was your reaction after hearing Chris Brown was charged with two felonies?
Fenty: I don’t know how to react. Chris is a very talented guy. I still think he’s a little immature for Rihanna. Justice can never be served in this situation. He can’t feel the pain she felt. I don’t believe in hitting a woman. I hope everything works out better for them. I don’t feel happy or sad. He’s in the court’s hands. Let justice prevail.

US: Have you seen the new police report that details Brown biting, hitting and threatening to kill Rihanna?
Fenty: I haven’t seen anything. I hear so many things. I don’t know what to believe until I see it myself. Rihanna’s mother is telling me that she hasn’t heard anything from her [Rihanna]. She said the last she heard Rihanna was well.

US: If those reports are true, how upset are you?
RF: I don’t know what to say, honest to god. I’ve been hearing so many stories. I don’t feel any pain anymore. I’ve gone numb. I’ve heard so much. But I can’t get on to her. Her mother can’t get on to her, her brother told me she changed her email. Somebody has a stranglehold on her. I’m lost.

US: I know you’ve been speaking with your daughter over text. Is she no longer reachable?
RF: I’ll text the old numbers she had, and I call them. One girl answered, and she said, “This is not Robyn’s number anymore.” I asked, “Do you work for Robyn? Do you deal with Robyn?” And the girl hung up, so I don’t know what’s going on anymore. I’m lost.

Us: What was her last text to you?
RF: [She] said, “Daddy, I miss you.” And that’s it. And I could not reply. I saw a number and texted back, “I miss you too.” And I didn’t get another reply from her.

US: Obviously, you still support her.
RF: Yes, of course. Anyone in my family, I’m there for them. All of my kids, I’m there for them. Rihanna’s no exception. All of them I would support. I would tell them where they go wrong, I’d chastise them when they do s–t, but to be honest with you they have their own life to live.

US: What would you say to Chris Brown if you saw him today?
RF: I would tell Chris, “Don’t ever try again, don’t even think about it.” I’m hurt and disturbed at that scenario.

I don’t understand these people.  As a parent, I really do not.  What’s all this “Chris is a very talented guy,” and “I don’t feel happy or sad,” and “Somebody has a stranglehold on her,” shit?  Are you kidding me?  Chris is the vicious abuser who had a literal stranglehold on her and needs to be in jail.  I don’t even know Rihanna and I feel so sad for her.  What is wrong with this dude?

Now her email and phone numbers have been changed-beyond disturbing.  This is classic abuser behavior.  She is being isolated so that she feels that the only person she can count on is the guy who tried to rearrange her face.

I cannot fathom how these parents can sit by and watch this happen.  Yes, Rihanna is an adult but Rihanna is sick and needs help.  This is what parents do; they help their children.  Adulthood doesn’t change that.  This girl is still young and hopefully has a long life and career ahead of her.  Someone needs to intervene and help her out of this situation, because I guarantee that, today, she cannot see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I hate watching this unfold because I feel like it is going to end so, so badly.

Much Ado About Nothing

Ok, everyone gathered for the dumbass arraignment and nothing happened.  It’s been extended to April 6.  You know, more time so that a deal can be cut.  Chris was there and looking contrite.  I’ll update this post when I can get a full transcript because TMZ’s sound sucks.  There was definitely some talk between Chris and his attorney, Mark Geragos.  Stay tuned…

Oh, and to be clear, this isn’t a trial-just an arraignment hearing.  This is where Chris will enter his plea, which I’m sure will be “not guilty.”  Then, a trial date will be set within sixty days of his April 6th arraignment.  Unless, of course, aforementioned deal is cut and this never goes to trial.  Which is what I suspect is actually going to happen.

UPDATE: One thing I forgot to mention is that Chris Brown needs to behave himself between now and the sixth of April but Rihanna does not request a protective order against him.  Therefore, he’s allowed to be with her as long as he doesn’t punch her.

UPDATE: Okay, at the end of the feed, there was a brief conversation between Chris and the attorney that was there to represent Rihanna, Donald Etra.  Etra told Chris that Rihanna wants this over as soon as possible.  Sigh.  Sad.

Chris Brown Trial About to Start!

Thursday, March 5th, 2009

Chris has left his lawyer’s office and is on his way to the courtroom.

The trial starts in mere minutes!

While you wait for the results, I’d like to point out that CNN has the most detailed account I’ve read of the gruesome details from a detective report. (You can check out the PDF for yourself here if you want to see it for yourself.)

“Brown was driving a vehicle with Robyn F. as the front passenger on an unknown street in Los Angeles. Robyn F. picked up Brown’s cellular phone and observed a three-page text message from a woman who Brown had a previous sexual relationship with.

“A verbal argument ensued and Brown pulled the vehicle over on an unknown street, reached over Robyn F. with his right hand, opened the car door and attempted to force her out. Brown was unable to force Robyn F. out of the vehicle because she was wearing a seat belt. When he could not force her to exit, he took his right hand and shoved her head against the passenger window of the vehicle, causing an approximate one-inch raised circular contusion.

“Robyn F. turned to face Brown and he punched her in the left eye with his right hand. He then drove away in the vehicle and continued to punch her in the face with his right hand while steering the vehicle with his left hand. The assault caused Robyn F.’s mouth to fill with blood and blood to splatter all over her clothing and the interior of the vehicle.

“Brown looked at Robyn F. and stated, ‘I’m going to beat the s–t out of you when we get home! You wait and see!’ ”

The detective said she then used her cell phone to call her personal assistant … who did not answer.

“Robyn F. pretended to talk to her and stated, ‘I’m on my way home. Make sure the police are there when I get there.’

“After Robyn F. faked the call, Brown looked at her and stated, ‘You just did the stupidest thing ever! Now I’m really going to kill you!’

“Brown resumed punching Robyn F. and she interlocked her fingers behind her head and brought her elbows forward to protect her face. She then bent over at the waist, placing her elbows and face near her lap in [an] attempt to protect her face and head from the barrage of punches being levied upon her by Brown.

“Brown continued to punch Robyn F. on her left arm and hand, causing her to suffer a contusion on her left triceps (sic) that was approximately two inches in diameter and numerous contusions on her left hand.

“Robyn F. then attempted to send a text message to her other personal assistant. Brown snatched the cellular telephone out of her hand and threw it out of the window onto an unknown street.

“Brown continued driving and Robyn F. observed his cellular telephone sitting in his lap. She picked up the cellular telephone with her left hand and before she could make a call he placed her in a head lock with his right hand and continued to drive the vehicle with his left hand.

“Brown pulled Robyn F. close to him and bit her on her left ear. She was able to feel the vehicle swerving from right to left as Brown sped away. He stopped the vehicle … and Robyn F. turned off the car, removed the key from the ignition and sat on it.

“Brown did not know what she did with the key and began punching her in the face and arms. He then placed her in a head lock positioning the front of her throat between his bicep and forearm. Brown began applying pressure to Robyn F.’s left and right carotid arteries, causing her to be unable to breathe and she began to lose consciousness.

“She reached up with her left hand and began attempting to gouge his eyes in an attempt to free herself. Brown bit her left ring and middle fingers and then released her. While Brown continued to punch her, she turned around and placed her back against the passenger door. She brought her knees to her chest, placed her feet against Brown’s body and began pushing him away. Brown continued to punch her on the legs and feet, causing several contusions.

“Robyn F. began screaming for help and Brown exited the vehicle and walked away. A resident in the neighborhood heard Robyn F.’s plea for help and called 911, causing a police response. An investigation was conducted and Robyn F. was issued a Domestic Violence Emergency Protective Order.”

At the end of his statement, Andrews said Brown sent her text message apologizing nine days later.

“In the text message, Brown apologized for what he had done to Robyn F. and advised [the second personal assistant] that he was going to get help.”

JAIL JAIL JAIL.

If the courts can make an example out of Paris Hilton for driving while on probation, they sure as FUCK better make an example of this little fucker.

Thanks Katie!
