This is Why I Love Eve

Saturday, May 30th, 2009

This past Wednesday, Wendie wrote about a video Chris Brown posted to Youtube in which he and Lil Bow Wow defended Brown’s reputation in a language so badly mangled that it could only be identified via its dental records as English.

Later that same day, Eve took to her twitter account and told Chris Brown exactly what she’d do to him if he came at her the way he came at Rihanna:
Rapper Eve Tweets About Chris Brown

Eve is fed up with the way Brown’s actions are being overlooked and accepted, writing that she’s “so sick of the media trying to sugar coat a serious issue.”

Rihanna Scheduled To Appear In Court

The last time I made a bet about the legal fate of Chris Brown, it didn’t go well.  I ended up having to write two hundred kind words about Mischa Barton and how she positively affects my life.  I’m still having nightmares and the occasional facial tic over it.

While I’m recovering from the fact that Brown’s assault case wasn’t dismissed or pled out, I am happy to report that Rihanna’s attorney Donald Etra confirms that the singer will be in court at Chris’ next hearing on June 22nd and that she will be prepared to testify against Chris Brown.  Oh, I hope and pray this happens.  I want the public to hear the real and true details of what happened that night.  I also think it’s a positive message for other women who are afraid to speak out against their abusers.

When asked how Rihanna is coping, Etra replied, “She is doing fine.  She is continuing with her career and moving on with her life and doing great.”

Chris Brown: I Ain’t A Monster And Bloggers Lie

Wednesday, May 27th, 2009

Chris Brown has a homemade video up on YouTube.  I don’t really know what he says.  He hasn’t yet learned about the power of a verbal pause.  I think the general message that he wanted to get out was that hedoesn’tnormallymakevideosbuthewantedtosay’hi’andhe’sworkingonanewalbumandhe’snotamonster.  Yo.

If you’re looking for the unedited and entirely fascinating ten minute video of Chris Brown and Bow Wow bowling and talking about how much bloggers lie, click here.

And since Chris Brown thinks bloggers lie so much, I’d like to live up to his expectations (you know how I hate to disappoint.):  Chris Brown has a lengthy and successful career ahead of him.

Chris Brown to Record Country Song

Sunday, May 24th, 2009

I feel bad for fans of pop country. It seems like most of the entertainment industry regards country as a safe haven where anyone whose career is on its last legs can record some mediocre tripe and score some cash — Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Love Hewitt, and now Chris Brown.

After beating the crap out of special lady friend Rihanna, Brown has decided to take himself one step closer to becoming a sad caricature of trailer park life and will release a country song called “Trapped in a Dream” on his next album.

“Maybe we’ll see an appearance from Carrie Underwood or someone like that,” said Robert Allen, a writer and producer who is currently working with the singer. “It’s that kind of song.” Allen further explained that the song is “just feeling like you don’t want that dream to go away. Everybody has a dream and you’re in it, but you wake up and you’re like, ‘Oh, my God.’ You feel like you’re still in that dream.”

More like being trapped in a nightmare.

Knowing what little I know of Carrie Underwood, I think it’s safe to say that she won’t be coming within swinging distance of Brown or his country tune. Maybe he should give Leann Rimes a call? I hear she isn’t too picky about who she partners up with.

Rihanna and GaGa Team Up!!!

Tuesday, May 12th, 2009

Check out this new track from Lady GaGa and Rihanna — it’s called “Silly Boy,” and the lyrics would suggest that Rihanna still believes she’s a good girl, and that perhaps Chris Brown blew it for good. Man, I hope so. As far as PR moves go, though, this is a bright one for Rihanna — team up with another hot artist so the heat’s not all on her, and sing about a dude who messed everything up with an awesome girl. Very smart.

Naked Rihanna Pictures Leaked

It’s been kind of quiet on the Chris Brown and Rihanna front as he busily works on getting out of the legal jam he’s in and she works on moving forward with her career.

Though the rumored sex tape hasn’t surfaced yet, naked pictures of Rihanna have finally hit the internet.  She obviously took the pictures of herself which leads to the question of who got access to the pictures?

The uncensored pictures are here and totally NSFW.  Unless perinea are suitable for your workplace in which case these pics are totally okay.

Thanks, Brian!

Just a Friendly Reminder That Chris Brown Beat the Crap Out of His Girlfriend

JUST WANTED TO MAKE SURE YOU KNEW!

Because his lawyer is doing all sorts of shady stuff to try to delay the case and confuse the matter. The LA court has agreed to yet another extension, with the next hearing set for May 28. Meanwhile, Chris’s lawyer is trying to get the case dismissed entirely due to evidence leaks, like the pic of Rihanna’s injuries.

“If Geragos makes an issue of leaked evidence, it’s unlikely the judge will dismiss the case,” says L.A. criminal defense attorney Jeffery Rubenstein, who’s not involved in the case. “It’s not police conduct at issue here, it’s Chris Brown’s.”

EXACTLY!

Hopefully the judge AND the public can keep that in mind. The ONLY issue here is that one person violently assaulted another.
