People are saying she was loaded — I disagree. I mean, she may not be stone cold sober here, but she’s not trashed. She seems unsure of herself, almost like she’s uncomfortable being this damn sober on the stage.

Amy took home five Grammys last night, including the Best New Artist title.

Amy was not able to get a visa to travel to the U.S. to attend the Grammys, where she received 6 nominations. The American Embassy in London rejected the visa application, ostensibly because she’s a walking disaster. If only we could do the same thing to Britney.

Reads the statement from her publicist:

“Amy has been progressing well since entering a rehabilitation clinic two weeks ago, and although disappointed with the decision, has accepted the ruling and will be concentrating on her recovery. Amy has been treated well and fairly by the Embassy staff and thanks everyone for their support in trying to make this happen. There will of course be other opportunities and she very much looks forward to visiting America in the near future.”

Well, okay, let’s be honest: there are a lot of reasons why I don’t wear white.

But this is one of them.

Can we all pretend like it is and laugh our asses off?

Sure, kids. Sure.

Also: what the hell is she carrying? Coffee creamers? Ketchups? Ranch dressing?

It’s just kind of nice not to follow the words “Amy’s gone” with “batshit.”

But she’s ditched her trademark dark — beehive? rat’s nest? ostrich nest? — for a short blonde ‘do in this most recent series of pics, and she’s rocking a young Johnny Depp on her tee. At least there’s one attractive face in this picture.

What’s the verdict?

Amy Winehouse is in Barbados, enjoying a precious, precious week in which she’s not the craziest celeb on the planet.

Amy Winehouse was booked today after an investigation into husband Blake-Civil Fielder’s actions that led to his incarceration under a perversion of justice charge, implicated Amy as well.

I don’t understand what any of that means.

“Her husband has been charged with grievous bodily harm against a pub landlord. He was then further charged with perverting the course of justice. It had been speculated that police might have an interest in any allegation about his wife’s potential involvement,” says some journalist guy.

Can the smart people out there please explain in (American) English what the fuck is going on?

In the wake of her mother’s shattering open letter to her ailing daughter, it seems her daughter has a newfound determination to get better. At least, that’s how her rep’s trying to spin it. Here’s the statement:

“Amy is thrilled to be nominated for 6 Grammys and is very much hoping to attend. She is determined to be ready and well for that performance.”

Get sober, Amy! Get healthy and get back here and rock our worlds!!!
