i agree Lee. I am a white male and have never dated a black woman but that doesn’t mean i can’t see that his girlfriend is beautiful…or any black women for that matter. i notice that when i happen to be w/ a black female friend of mine, the white girls either glare or are in shock. lol….women are so jealous.

I think we just expected him to be a bit more shallow because he is beautiful and a lot of good looking men are full of themselves. Plus we seem to identify with the character a person plays because we have no idea what the real person is like. She is pretty, but not overly glamorous, which is a good thing. I think it’s good she goes out in public looking like a normal person and not plastic or airbrushed like a lot of other women of all races do.

I think she looks hotter than any of the blond, white barbie-doll clones I’ve seen that regularly are used as examples of “beauty”, yet I doubt if he was with one of those anyone would be making a comment such as that.
I’ve noticed that any time a white guy is with a black woman people point out “looks must really not mean much to him” as if only white women can be considered beautiful.

I am a black woman and I just came off of a predominantly black blog with the same bogus crap flying around. People are always worrying about who someone else is laying down with!
