Dennis Quaid Avoids DUI

As Wendie already told you today, Dennis Quaid was let off the hook on a DUI charge by some cops who must have liked his work in The Rookie or something. The story goes like this: Quaid and his lady had too many drinks at their fancy pants dinner, Quaid assumes he’s sober enough to drive, but his drunkenness is visible enough because two cops rolled up next to him in a car and suggested that he take a cab. Quaid took their kind adviced and ditched his wheels for a taxi. And now? Now we’ve got the photos to illustrate the incident:

seriously. do you people bother to read previous posts? this site has seriously started to suck.

I don’t understand how this is double reporting. I mentioned that Wendie already covered the story, but these are the photos from the incident and I think those are important to share, too.

i was never implying that you didn’t recognize someone else had reported. Just you gave us pretty much the same info Wendie did. she already gave us a link to a video… do we care about pictures? how about reporting on something oh i don’t know… different?

Way to pay attention to what’s actually IN the posts. I know, I know, reading is hard. Too many words and stuff.

Why is this even news? Hasn’t anyone already figured out that L.A. is the town of the privileged when it comes to how the law is enforced. Doesn’t anyone remember Mel Gibson’s DUI or Britney Spears mental break down and the police escort she received all the way from Malibu to Cedars Sinai, just to name a few instances? If you’re a star you get special treatment from the LAPD and the LASD. Period.
