New New Moon Clip

October 20th, 2009 by Wendie

For all you Twihards, here’s the one-minute clip of New Moon that hit the ‘net today.  You can download it for free on iTunes or just watch it right here.  I figured Beet would enjoy the first ten seconds since it’s a brief intro done by her future bedmate Taylor Lautner.  Personally, I don’t see the appeal, but I’ve got a thing for Stephen Colbert so … probably not a good judge.

Is it me or does this Taylor kid look like he has a touch of the Down’s?

  2. Robin says:

    Mm, Stephen Colbert.

  3. hil says:

kristin stewart is so incredibly not attractive…

  4. Oxymoron says:

By the way, I haven’t read the books and refuse to watch the movies. Doesn’t Bella know that the guy is a werewolf? Or is this the moment when she finds out?

  5. ltc says:

stephen colbert is on my list of ‘guys i could mess around with and my husband can’t be mad’.
only … of course he’d be mad.
but yeah… colbert…. so quick. so handsome.

whats with all the man flesh in this movie? is this what tween movies have resorted to?

    • Alzaetia says:

The wolf boys walk around half naked in the books all the time, so it makes sense for them to do that in the movie.
It’s not a tween movie, it’s a teen movie. The main character is 17. The books have never been written for tweens.
That’s not to say there aren’t tons of tweens reading and watching. But that’s got more to do with their parents not setting boundaries than about the product being marketed directly to them. This isn’t Hannah Montana.

i know i am biased bc i dont give a crap about the twilight movies but:

    A) her punch was WEAK. like a scrawny girl hurt the big bad werewolf dude.

    B) WTF IS WITH THE WOLVES. they are just giant sized wolves. that is so freaking retarded looking.

    • hil says:

realistically, she would have been shaking her hand in pain after that punch, but there’s no way she could have hit him that hard anyway, i agree.

    • Optimistic Pessimist says:

agree with point A totaly. infact, doesn’t bella practically break her hand in ‘Eclipse’ after punching jacob?

Little mistakes liken this piss me off way more than then should lol

    • Optimistic Pessimist says:

P.s (and i’m going to make myself look like a nerd now) in one of the books it turns out that the wolves aren’t WEREwolves as such, but shape-shifters instead – they can turn whenever rather than being forced to with each full moon – i’m assuming that’s why they are just big wolves rather than something slightly more badass.

having said that – they do look awfully cartoon-y don’t they? not even like actual wolves.

  8. Squeeziee says:

My goodness there’s a lot of tanned man-flesh in this film. Num-num.
Also, why is it that Taylor Lautner being himself is not attractive (to me) but he looks much better in a movie? Odd.

    • Alzaetia says:

“why is it that Taylor Lautner being himself is not attractive”

I understand exactly what you mean. I have a massive crush on Qui-Gon Jinn, but I do not find Liam Neeson even remotely attractive.

  9. Optimistic Pessimist says:

Just when you thought Kristen stewart’s acting couldn’t get any more painful….

  10. Oxymoron says:

Okay, so when they transform, their clothes explode off of their bodies. So when they … un-transform, they just walk around naked?

    • mariecat says:

actually, yes they do. and they deal with that in the book. something about wearing some extra rope or something to tie their clothes on, assuming they take off their clothes before changing.

      • Alzaetia says:

That’s one of the reasons they walk around half naked all the time. Easier to tie a pair of pants to your leg than a whole set of clothes.

  11. mariecat says:

taylor for his get-me-arrested body and stephen for day-to-day fun and humor. i like both.
