Diddy Makes it Hail

Diddy was making it rain at a taping of 106 and Park when he accidentally threw some ice along with the cash.
While tossing bundles of bills into the audience during a performance, his diamond ring slipped off his finger. Members of his crew then tore up part of the set looking for it, and when that turned up nothing, they detained and searched every member of the audience with a metal detector. The ring wasn’t found.
You’d think a man who can afford to toss cash out to the crowds like a Real World cast member giving away free herpes wouldn’t have a problem losing a piece of jewelry valued at a mere $20,000, right? Well, actually, the bundles of bills he was handing out like a Mormon with a surplus of tiny green bibles were mostly fake, with only about $25 to $100 of real money mixed in with printed paper.

Why doesn’t he go drop some money in the ghetto since he stole their culture to make himself a billionaire? Build a charter school, or a rec center for kids so they don’t have to worry about getting shot in the street, but no, this dumbass worries about “bling”.
A) Diddy is far from a Billionaire. (though to us masses, the difference may be academic)
B) Diddy has been very charitable over the years, like him or not. Do the research. He’s rich and successful and has earned his money; he gets to decide how to spend it.
C) The “ghetto”, in general isn’t attached to some notion that Diddy stole its music. Diddy is successful and hailed as someone who helped put a lot of urban culture more prominently on the map, from hip-hop fashion to hip-hop/R & B music to urban multi-media. He also created an empire that employs tons of people.

WHY is he making money?
Can anyone say “lawsuit”. You can’t just detain and search people because you lost something. I will be very surprised if some ambulance chasers don’t jump all over this one. It’s an easy money settlement.
he’s a cheap bastard, but he’s also getting women knocked up all the time, so a $20 000 ring is just child support for one child and he has 5, even though he wont publicly admit Chance is his daughter.
