New Michael Jackson Single: “This Is It Released”
October 11th, 2009 by Evil BeetHey guys! Guess what just hit the Internet 17 minutes ago? This new MJ song, “This Is It,” and now we have it here on Evil Beet. We’re prompt like that. It’s a good song. But, ya know, this dude could sing the Alcoholics Anonymous meeting schedule and Lindsay Lohan would be hanging on every note. He was just such a phenomenal talent. It’s something I’ve always maintained and still maintain: setting aside the events of his personal life, this is one of the greatest musical talents of our history.

he was a great talent, such a shame that it got overshadowed by his personal life in the end and now a whole generation will think of him as something else

That is all…..
I don’t think that he was one of the most talented singers or dancers: Ella Fitzgerald and the Nicholas Brothers put him to shame on those fronts.
But he was an energetic, charismatic performer and he had a great publicity machine behind him from childhood, something that other performers before television found harder to achieve (although some had it from radio, like Bing Crosby).
He also was musically mature from a young age, thanks to his father’s drive. His adult voice had a limited range, but he could really deliver a song anyway.
