It’s a Girl!

I give a lot of credit to Grey’s Anatomy Ellen Pompeo and her husband, music producer Chris Ivery for keeping this a secret for so long! Their spokesperson released a statement today announcing the birth of their daughter, Stella Luna Pompeo Ivery. She was born on September 15th and that’s all they’ve released in the way of details.
Congratulations to the (hopefully!) happy couple!
Pictures in the gallery were taken of Ellen the week she gave birth. She really looked great right up until the end!

Also stella luna was like my favorite book growing up. I had the stella luna finger puppet.
me too, i didnt move without it when i was a kid. i was that obnoxious one that made my mom read me the same story EVERY night (sorry, mom…..)
I’m going to name a child Babar and be done with it.
Cute name, using “star” and “moon” without being too gimmicky. Congrats to them!
I wonder if they realized there is a award winning kids book about a bat named Stellaluna? Probably not.
