Zooey Deschanel Marries Rock Dude

500 Days of Summer actress Zooey Deschanel married Death Cab for Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard on Saturday night near Seattle. I’ve only become familiar with Zooey’s work recently, but I really like her. She was on Top Chef Masters a few weeks ago — God, that show sucked. Beyond having more food restrictions than I have (no gluten or soy and she’s vegan), she seems to be very likable and down to earth.
Anyway, I’m trying to imagine what their wedding reception meal was like. Water, arugula and strawberries?

I have loved her since the first time I saw her. She has class and grace, eyes to make you melt and the voice of an angel. She is what every hollywood wannabe wants to be! I hope she and her new hubby are very happy, even though she belongs with me! (OK just my dreams again…) Team Zooey!!

love her! ever since Almost Famous i have been a fan. Just wish she would stop singing…her voice is pretty terrible. Its unique but in an annoying way.

I have loved her singing voice since I first heard her in Elf. i think she has a beautiful singing voice. Wendie, when I first saw them together I thought the exact same thing about those blue eyes!
Agreed. Her singing voice is really annoying and She & Him is one of the most overrated groups of the past year. She also sang harmonies on a bunch of songs on Jenny Lewis’s latest album and her voice just didn’t blend well at all. I love her acting though!
I love She & Him and I think she has a unique and refreshing voice and style. To each their own…

I wish them well, but she was horrible in “The Happening” with Mark Wahlberg.
I’m pretty sure that’s because The Happening SUCKED ASS! I don’t blame her one bit, as she’s been nothing less than spectacular in everything else I have ever seen her in!

I think Zooey is so pretty! And I like her style of singing its not the same kind of thing you hear from the mainstream people, she puts a different spin on it.

I hate her singing voice. Hate. She can’t sing worth a crap. But she’s an okay actress. She’s cute. I like that she wears vintage clothes, because I love vintage. I saw them in Austin at Kerbey Lane during SXSW. They were very low key and cute.
Also, I thought they had been married. I guess they were just engaged.
She could do better.
At first glance I thought the story line said,
