So She Thinks She Can Sing?

September 17th, 2009 by Wendie

Jennifer Aniston was on Ellen yesterday and treated our ear drums to a sampling of this “singing” that she’s been threatening over the past couple weeks.  It’s a movie that’s still in pre-production, but Aniston is set to star in The Goree Girls which is a story about a female prisoner band in the 1940’s.  She’ll be playing guitar and singing.

The audience went pretty wild over her voice, which I think just proves that America is very easily entertained.  Maybe she’ll become a hit singer, win a VMA and Angelina can run up on stage during her acceptance speech and start screaming, “I’m gonna let you finish, but Brad Pitt?  He’s the best husband ever!”

aw leave her alone. she obviously didnt really wanna do it, probably because she knew some assholes would make fun of her for it. find a better story.. this is not amusing its just pointless and mean.

    • Lee says:

Pointless and mean pretty much sums up everything they write about her.

    • Adum says:

I liked how when Ellen said “You’re the main singer right?” and Jennifer said “I’m one of the singers.”

It was humble since you know that the movie is going to be promoted with her in the fore-front.

fuck that! she’s rich, beautiful an famous.. let us all laugh about her terrible singing!

Of course America is easily entertained – that’s why the cast of The Hills is famous. If that twat from the couple-that-shall-remain-nameless is allowed to sing and perform, I think anybody should be able to. I think I’m going to sign my cat up for singing lessons. At the very least it will get a million hits on YouTube and we’ll get to go on The Today Show.

Awwww i love Jen and Ellen together! They’re so cute! Its like you can tell they’re actually friends, they have a good chemistry bless them! :) That made me smile! Her voice was cute too, and im sure with backing music and a few others she’ll shine! :)
That was really sweet to see! I liked that post, made me smile!xx

Wow, I thought it was awful (the singing). If you’re gonna sing in a movie and you tell the whole world about it, expect to be asked to sing when you’re on a talk show.

  8. yum says:

It’s not the singing they love, it’s Jen. She’s a very charming girl, maybe a little hard for Wendie to understand. How about a post of something you do like once in a while, just so your not so predictable.

I think people genuinely like Jennifer Aniston. I know I do. I don’t think she’s pathetic or talentless. I find her to be very funny in her movies. Her dramatic stuff isn’t as good, but that’s okay. Marilyn Monroe was a better comedienne than she was a dramatic actress.

  10. uhm says:

shouldn’t brad interrupt, stating angie is the best wife….?

  11. Jenfan says:

Jen looked cute on Ellen, I think she is talented and gorgeous.

  12. MissLeeLoo says:

I really like Jen! She’s not a singer, but she had a sweet voice, very pleasant. That last line WAS hilarious Wnedie!

P.S.: So psyched about Ellen on American Idol!
