What happens is that they ask for your card for the 7 day free trial and then automatically begin charging your card. I think it is pretty hard to get them to stop charging your card. Not sure. This happened to my BF. I She was so embarrassed when she had to go to the bank to find out what the charge was for and then was told (by the bank) what it was. Apparently, it happens a lot more often than we think.
