Danny Gans Follow-Up

Last month, when Vegas entertainer Danny Gans passed away so suddenly and at such a young age, most people thought he had suffered a heart attack. The toxicology reports are now in and have concluded that he passed from an accidental overdose to pain medication prescribed for a chronic pain condition, coupled with a pre-existing heart condition.
Don’t doctors check for these things? Kind of makes me rethink these Percocets I’ve been taking for the past few days.

I remember reading the headlines, “Not to be missed”, when I would see his ads in Vegas. Who the fuck knew they would come true. Yawn!
OMFG. I totally loved Danny Gans, and I’d been following the story carefully–thanks for the update, Wendie.
My dad is 88, and he has a pacemaker, and he’s been taking mad Vicoprofen. Like, constantly. I’m about to give mom a talking-to, because he needs to knock it off.
Life really is so fragile.
