10 years ago MTV would have supported Rihanna.
10 years from now, other artists will (hopefully) be too scared (of their paycheck) not to support Rihanna.
But now they’re all just scared of alienating their audience, or not supporting one of their boys, so they leave their girl out in the cold.
She wanted to handle it quietly, away from everything, so she didn’t press charges. Now that bites back and she’s being turned into the bad guy in this situation.

Equality has nothing to do with it, you blinkered axe-grinder. Leaving aside that there is an inherent inequality between men and women when it comes to physical size and power, saying that a man should not hit a woman doesn’t preclude any kind of statement about whether a woman should hit a man. how disappointing. i so don’t like how NO ONE is backing up rihanna and POINTING OUT what chris brown did to her. agree with “fake eve,” who knows what happened and why but that doesn’t matter. HE BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF RIHANNA. no matter how bad an argument or whatever, no man or woman should raise a hand against another. SO WRONG. he needs to be burned alive.
