Kate Gosselin Borrows Recipes And Calls It A Cookbook

The never-stopping machine that is Kate Gosselin is at it again.  Her newest business venture is a cookbook titled “Love is in the Mix:  Making Meals Into Memories” that she has “written” that is due for release this October.

Already, Kate is under harsh criticism for plagiarizing recipes.  Apparently, You can’t take the Chex party mix recipe off the side of the box, rename it Monkey Munch and call it your own.

Like I said the other day, I haven’t been a long-time J&K+8 fan, but I’ve seen enough episodes to know that Kate doesn’t really, um, cook.  I mean, if serving yogurt qualifies someone to write a cookbook, then I need a literary agent to get in touch with me right away.  Because I can actually heat chicken nuggets…the dinosaur shaped ones.

Now, I’m assuming the book has already gone to press but I’d like to submit a recipe to Kate, anyway.  Perhaps she could use it for the follow-up book that is probably already in the works.

1 cup of kindness towards your husband

1/2 cup of patience

3 Tbsp. shut up — you don’t need to be in control all the time

2 tsp. you aren’t always right

1/2 lb. turn off the cameras

2 doz. you’ve got enough monies

A dash of repair your estranged familial relationships

Mix all ingredients thoroughly, let sit for a year and you’ll be able to look at yourself in the mirror again.

HAHA hilarious! Perfect recipe for Kate. Ya know, if she grew out the hair in the back, it would not look bad at all. She could pull off the Chic short cut. This reverse mullet tho…. horrendous!

    • Lorelei says:

When my niece had the same haircut 4 years ago her father referred to it as the raccoon’s a$$ haircut

  2. Donkey Punch says:

The same sort of moronic woman that would buy such a recipe book would attend a Britney Spears concert.

  3. Kit-Kat says:

Why the hell are we STILL following this Gosselin crap???

This isn’t a Gosselin fansite/gossip site, enough with this family already! Geeez.

    • Oxymoron says:

We are following this because it is gossip, and there are a lot of rabid fans of J&K+8 on this website. It brings in the comments and hits.

      And because it’s interesting.

  4. TryedTru says:

As a fellow New Englander, I can tell Wendie wrote that – right on! I think a lot more people/families could stand to follow a recipe like that!

    • Umm says:

As ANOTHER fellow New Englander, I can also tell Wendie wrote it… Because it says “by Wendie” right under the title, lol ;)

  5. imustsay says:

LMAO, Wendie! that was a great recipe!!!! but I think you’re right, she can’t cook…

  6. Coral says:

    Nice one, Wendie.

I think an effective sales strategy for this book would be changing the title to “Buy This Book Or Kate Will Find You And Yell At You Till You Do.”

  7. kirstie says:

    HAHAHAHAHA Wendie, you rock…

  8. Casey says:

Every time I see her hair I just want to tuck that front part behind her ear for her. It drives me crazy just hanging over her face like that. And yeah, she doesn’t cook, I’ve seen the show and I also went to Britney and would not buy this cookbook so there!!

  9. Golda says:

    I love you Wendie.

  10. kiddo says:

sadly it ill make the best sellers list.

Fools! dont buy anyones book, go to your local library. Read all the free plagarism for free!!

Is it any worse than when Caroline Kennedy went on Martha Stewart with her cookbook, then stated she never made it, her “staff” did it?

    What is with these people.

  11. Dizz says:

Kate reminds me of Martha Stewart-that same bitchy I know it all attitude, correcting everyone who she converses with, belittling, and condescending.
BUT I love Martha, cause underneath all of that, she’s really creative. You can take her ideas and dial them down to an appropriate level. You have to appreciate a woman who can wrap a 22 lb. turkey in puff pastry.
Kate, on the other hand, doesn’t have a skill other than organization. She has no redeeming qualities. If Jon is gone, I will stop watching. The reason people are tuning in is to see what a bitch she is, and how much she can emasculate this man.
If the ratings go down without Jon, will she try to get him back? You know, it’s all for the kids…

  12. LT says:

She cooks for her kids A LOT…I don’t know what show you’ve been watching but she definitely spends a lot of time prepping and cooking really healthy meals for her kids.

  13. kiddo says:

Dizz, just to clarify, I was slamming Caroline.

Martha is always welcome in our home. I download her podcasts on cakes.

I just thought it funny. These public figures wanted to help us lowly regular people to cook.

Yeah maybe someone probably has to give Caroline a map to the kitchen first. lol

Kate used to cook but it now I dont think other than frying jon’s ass she is doing much in the kitchen. I feel that line works with aunt jodi’s ass also.

Has anyone seen the interview about how Kate didnt do her family chores. Kevin you pathetic chump. lol

  14. me says:

    WTF with that hair?????
It’s like the female version of biz in da front an party in da back

  15. KatiePie says:

    That was freakin’ hilarious.

“3 Tbsp. shut up — you don’t need to be in control all the time”

    Love it!

  16. Beehind says:

    You forgot:
1 quart of “get a better haircut.”

  17. methadonemama says:

    Love the recipe, Wendy.

How can a haircut that’s so great on Adam Lambert be sooooo bad on Kate???

  18. dpizzle says:

More than anything else, her hair bothers me most. I can’t deal. It’s like the hair that time forgot.

Kate, flock of seagulls meets sonic the hedgehog IS NOT A GOOD LOOK!!!!!!

  19. Tako says:

    lmao brilliant Wendie!

  20. Manda says:

I hate her damn hair. i’d rather she shaved the whole thing off.

  21. Stacey says:

    OH SNAP! Brilliant recipe. Brilliant!

  22. shannonhumphreys says:

    I love you Wendie!
You bring on the LOLZ like a bad case of whatever the hell weird rash caused Kate to have to butcher the back of her head like that…

  23. Lisa says:

Great recipe – but it needs a title – maybe

    GET OVER YOUR SHITTY SELF!!

  24. Anonymous says:

I watched an episode online of this incredibly boring show and it was the one wherein she gets her stove replaced. I knew instantly that she was no “chef” when it was an ELECTRIC STOVE!!!! Any cook can tell you that using electric burners is straight AMATEUR HOUR!!! hahaha!!!

Oh and nice hair and matching atrocious personality Kate…way to work it out!

p.s. I also noticed that the little twins have adopted her overbearing and obnoxious personality too….off putting to say the least.

  25. citizen_cris says:

    BEST. POST. EVER.

  26. phoebe says:

is there a family of porcupines nesting on the back of her head? what’s going on?

  27. stephan says:

wow i think jon is being a little bitchy with kate all she does is take care of the kids and he just yells at her.
i mean he will not even talk with her in less its on his time.
i mean come on people jon cheated on kate first.
like she said all i want to do is stay friends and i want to be near my kids all the time and i will make peace if it means staying near my kids during holidays and stuff.
