Pay no attention to the people who will tell you that this season’s results finale wasn’t the lowest-rated ever. The early report has the finale show at 28.8 million, which would put it in a statistical tie with the 2004 finale show (although there were some reports that the 2004 show actually drew over 31 million). The problem here is that there were fewer viewers overall in 2004. The U.S. population has since grown in the last 5 years, and that’s why they still have a percentage ratings system.

In that system, the 2004 finale drew a 12.0 rating, making it the 4th-most-watched finale with respect to the viewing population’s percentage. This year’s, according to A.C. Nielsen and Co., drew a 10.0, THE WORST EVER, even worse than the FIRST season’s 10.8. To many, it was a foregone conclusion that Adam was going to win. They only tuned in, between 9:50 and 10:05, to hear the results. Kris was announced the winner at 10:03 E.S.T. I wonder what the last 4 minutes of the show drew.

Anyway, I was somewhat surprised by the result. I think Adam played it too gay with the finger nail polish and eye makeup- I read somewhere that most of the voting for AI comes from the souteastern US ( 4 of last 5 winners have been from the southeast). Ain’t no way a huge number of trailer park Baptists are gonna’ vote for a queer, unless it’s a contest so see who gets “saved” or maybe castrated.

WOOHOO! hahaha, i didn’t watch this lame ass show all season and then i decide to tune in just because i wanted to watch mr adam lose, and woopee! he did! i never watched the show but did hear things here and there and adam got on my gotdam nerves. i really dont give a shit what the hell happens after that. i couldn’t get over how fuckin corny the show was. 2 hrs of complete corn! shit man i wasted 2 hrs of my life, they gotta milk the shit for all its worth? they sorry!

Adam Lambert was so fucking robbed, but I should’ve remembered that cookie cut artists will always be more appealing… to most 13 year old idiots whose heroes are Hannah Montana and Jonas Brothers. DAMN this was unfair, Adam deserved to win and everyone knew that.
