Ashton Kutcher Is Way Serious About Twitter

Ashton Kutcher is a pretty passionate Twitterer.  He was the first to reach one million followers beating out CNN.  He actually issued a little challenge, promising to knock on the door of Ted Turner’s home if he was able to outrace CNN to the one million mark.  No one said he was the brightest bulb on the tree.

Anyway, blogger Jonah Perreti made a joke that he was offended that he tweeted a message to Kutcher and didn’t get a reply.  Read here for the full explanation and the recording of the message he received on his answering machine from Kutcher himself.  I guess it’s nice that he cares, but again-not the brightest bulb on the tree.

Okay, so he’s not incredibly eloquent, but I actually thought that was kind of endearing and adorable.

I agree. It was very annoying every time he said “and, and” but at the same time it was alright because it was an incredibly nice gesture.

get on them knees demi, and repeatedly blow your husband until he loses the feelings in his fingers. PUH-LEEZE.

dude’s got too much time on his hands.

    sheesh.

Ahw it sounded like he was nervous on the phone and really thought this guy hated him. If I were a celebrity I’d probably call people randomly too… but i’ll never be a celebrity.

that was, just to sweet! I really disliked him before cause he’s such an idiot in his movies but I like him again. I feel like I’m going back to: dude, where’s my car?

I thought Jonah Peretti’s ‘prank’ was just plain rude. Personally I don’t like pranksters. Of course this includes Ashton Kutcher’s pranking propensity. But anyway, pranks couched in intellectualism, imho, are worse than normal, sophomoric pranks. Use your brain for good things, Jonah.

Furthermore, it really seems like a way to get more hits to his site…

Geez someone needs to give this guy a job… he has way too much time on his hands. I found him entertaining on the 70’s Show. But he just annoys me now.
