More Singles: Leighton Meester, “Birthday”
May 5th, 2009 by Evil BeetIt’s just the month of new singles around here. Everyone’s releasing or “leaking” them. Here’s a “leak” of Leighton Meester’s single from her upcoming debut album. It’s called “Birthday.” It’s way better than that crap Paula Abdul just released, but it’s definitely not Taylor Swift quality.

Yes! This song was written by a kick ass band from Miami called ANR (Awesome New Republic) that is totally worth checking out.

oy. i got about 47 seconds in. it was pretty awful.
I actually thought it was kind of good, which surprised me.
Yeah, I actually didn’t hate that. The chorus is kinda obnoxious, but I like her voice – it’s sultry!
