‘Circus’ Is Proving to Be the Most Appropriately Named Tour Ever

May 3rd, 2009 by Kelly

Continuing the string of crazy incidents and mishaps that have been the hallmark of Britney Spears’  Circus tour, last night a fan at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut pulled a Lindsay Lohan and rushed the stage. He was able to get disturbingly close to Britney before a backup dancer began pushing him off stage and security rushed in.

Chances are that it was just some drunken idiot who wanted to be part of the show, but Britney was visibly shaken. She quickly recovered and went on to finish the encore performance of her song “Womanizer”.

GO CONNECTICUT!!! Keepin it crazy since 1788.

    You…?

  3. Robin says:

    I would have freaked out.
    She’s actually very composed.

There’s something not quite right about Britney. The supposed virginity, the vegas marriage, the “we should trust Bush cuz he’s our president”, the baldy head and crawling in the gutter meltdown… and now she’s wearing this cheesy grin and vacant smile the whole time. The treadmill’s turning but the hamster’s dead, people.

I think the creepiest thing is that he didn’t run up and try to hug her or anything, but actually started to dance along with the choreography like he fit in! How that guy slipped by security I have no clue since I have been to some pretty big concerts and there is always a ton of security and barricades up by the stage.

Wish someone would have put her (and us) out of her misery. Britney Spears, and overgrown girls that still listen to her, have destroyed the music industry and turned it into total joke.

Who cares about quality when shit like this sells to women with absolutely no musical taste?

I don’t think many people that like Britney Spears consider her to be a good musician or vocalist. We all know most if not all of her concerts she lip-syncs to. Most people like her because her songs are catchy and fun to dance to, not because they’re a good display of lyricism and songwriting. She’s a good performer.

I think now she’s more famous for being famous… not because she’s super talented.

True! Everybody knows she is not super talented! But for whatever reason, I started to like her when she was a mess and she didn’t give up, and she came back to claim her place in show biz. The woman can’t sing, so what, she’s fun to watch, she is a good performer, and most of all she has charisma; that makes her appealing and successful in the industry.

seriously though?!??! how did he get up on that stage without ANY security pouncing on him?! thats crazy. poor guy, he just wanted to dance!

    I don’t think she’ll see Christmas.
    She’ll be gone before Amy…

  11. Simon FC says:

How much are tickets for this crap?
You know, if she left the stage it wouldn’t make a blind bit of difference to the show.
I know people love her, but honestly I don’t know why.

That is so insane. Look at Britney, she was completely scared! Her hand was shaking so hard.

I think it’s about a time for you people to rename your site to at least/one/reference/to/lindsaylohan/in/everypost.com…it just seems highly appropriate…and for Britney spears to fade into obscurity, because it’s just disturbing…

Her miming is pathetic. Who cares if someone rushed the stage? Fans do it all the time. It was the most interesting thing about that ‘performance’. The song didn’t change one iota when she stopped. She should be embarrassed to be busted, but no, people already know she can’t sing.
