Why, oh why do I find people falling on their faces to be one of the funniest things ever? And why isn’t there video of Jennifer Garner wiping out as she went for a run? If you’re really into gross stuff like pus, WireImage was kind enough to capture close-ups of the injuries. Why? I. Have. No. Idea.
Garner appeared last night on Late Show with David Letterman and got some TLC from Dave, who isn’t sounding so hot himself. She, in turn, gave him some tea and honey.
I’d like to apologize in advance for the Canada tourism advertisement CBS insists we must watch in the beginning. It’s the goofiest ever and makes me feel embarrassed for the entire country.

Mayo on french fries is a European thing, not Canadian. Salt and vinegar on fries is Canadian. So is poutine.
Mine was all about how to feed a family of 4 for $15 from Albertson’s. Good stuff. And lighten up on Wendie, people!!! What a snarkfest. Go have your coffee. And a valium.

Re: pictures of injuries
I used to sit and look at the injuries in the back of my EMT textbook like it was a girly magazine. The picture of the avulsed penis was the best.

hahah i second that notion! I work in a funeral home and had to go to the ME’s office to pick someone up and their cooler was broken. BROKEN!

I live in Albuquerque, so we deal with a lot of desication due to the dry climate. I only worked with the medical investigators office during paramedic school, but I can imagine in any other climate it must be so much worse, especially in wetter/warmer areas.
How many people were on ice that day? And didn’t they have back up generators? That would be my first concern as a pathologist in a morgue..
Canada is way better than the U.S. anyways.

That was cute! I got a little nauseated when he touched her raw scab (ew!), but it was sweet. Made me chuckle.
This is news? Garner is an asshole and who really cares if she falls flat on her ugly mug or gets run over by a bus. It is not going to change my life.
I don’t get why you people got so angry at Wendie, I don’t see anything wrong with what she said. I understood that the ad was embarrassing, meaning it was not good enough for the country that it was trying to portray or whatever, or maybe its just that I already had my coffee! :)
Agreed- that is the way I took it too- not as a jab at Canada.
Its hard to know as apparently 90% of the time it doesn’t even play… I watched three times and didn’t get it. Wendy still sucks.

I saw an Applebee’s commercial. But now I must watch again and again until I see this video that makes me, as a Canadian, look goofy.

I seriously love everything about Jennifer Garner. So adorable.
First off, J-Gar is awesome, loving her. So down to earth and gorgeous and real.
Second, I’m Canadian, and WTF? Wasn’t Wendie saying she was embarrassed FOR Canada? I didn’t see the ad when I hit play, but if it was lame, it was lame. I’m going to take her word for it and not take that personally. I’m sure there are plenty of awesome tourism ads for Canada out there; maybe this just wasn’t one of them. Sensitive much?
Also, Canada is cool. I don’t think anyone is implying it ain’t. :)
