Rod Blagojevich Can’t Leave U.S. to Film “I’m a Celebrity …”

April 21st, 2009 by Evil Beet

Blagojevich IndictedHells yeah! You guys remember how pissed I was that NBC had asked ousted Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich to appear on their summer craptacular, I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here! So I’m absolutely delighted to hear that a judge has denied his request to leave the country to film the show in Costa Rica. (Rod is currently out on bail awaiting his trial for selling Barack Obama’s Senate seat to the highest bidder.)

NBC said in a statement that they have no plans to move filming to the US to allow this asswipe to participate.

Meanwhile, American Idol also-ran Sanjaya Malakar has joined the cast, along with Janice Dickinson, Geraldo Rivera and Duane “Dog the Racist Bounty Hunter” Chapman (another choice I disagree with).

Dammit! I was looking forward to watching Janice eat him when she got tired of coconuts and wanted some extra protein.

  2. Tracy says:

I don’t agree with his comments but I like Dog. I might actually watch this show knowing that he’s going to be on it.

I feel like he means well, he just has a habit of sticking his foot in his mouth.

Why would they even think about picking this person???

One think is to cast some dumb celebrity with a drug problem and another one is to cast a criminal policitian!

  4. Sandra says:

Hate his hair!!! Why does he think that hairstyle is so awesome? If he goes to jail, will he have to shave that awful hair? I hope so!

Unfortunately, if Blago does go to jail, I’m sure he’ll be in some minimum security joint (i.e. whitecollar jail) that will be pretty easy on him.

  5. BLA says:

Well…hooray for TV, I guess. TV that I mostly certainly won’t be watching.

  6. Sue says:

I really wish Dog didn’t have that opinion. I know it was a private conversation, which never should have been publicly aired.

I really do like his show, it puts a damper.
