Lindsay’s Seeing Red

Just on her head, though. And her pubes, but that’s not what this story is about.
As women, when we split up with our significant other, our initial thought is to change our hair. I don’t know why. It’s actually my gut reaction to any major event in my life that leaves me feeling out of control. I decide I need a new me to handle it. And that new me needs to have a different hairstyle. Britney took it a step or eight (razor blades) too far, but I suppose that if the craziest thing Lindsay does this week is walk into a reputable hair salon and leave with dark red hair, everyone comes out a winner, except for tabloid news.
Linds and Aliana were spotted leaving Byron and Tracey salon yesterday, showing off Lindsay’s new look to the paps. Dude, at least she has her sister at her side right now. Ali’s probably got more sense in that teenaged head of hers than either of their parents.

Not loving the new look (old look)..but I think its a plus that she’s trying to keep it together in the public eye..she’s probably seriously freaking out inside right now.
Everyone knows what its like to be dumped when you are not ready for it to be over..like she keeps saying its just a break? I am having flashbacks of my own denial in a situation like that and it is HARSH

I know what you mean… seriously I think probably all of us have gone a bit post-bust up psycho, right? How horrible would it be if OUR regrettable drunk dialling efforts were publicised, our tears were plastered all over magazines and our denials twisted into demented stalking? Isn’t denial a normal part of grief?
that has never been my reaction to a break up, but then again, I really really like my hair. I would never want to hurt it because of a man.
I think she looks way better with red hair, but I am sad. Whenever she has red hair, random people tell me that I look like her. I DO NOT, but I do have long red hair. Lame. I was happy when she was all dirty crackhead blonde, because the comparisons completely died.
Being redheaded sucks somtimes. Everyone tells you that you look like literally every other person in the world that has red hair.

my friend one year went as a “red headed slut” (a popular shot, if you don’t know). I have no idea how I have never thought of that…. ha
I know! I too am a redhead and I always get compared to debora messing, damn just cuz she has redhair I look like her?! Very annoying. You should read Still Life with Woodpecker by Tom Robbins, its all about redhead!

i LOVE her hair red. i think it’s what looks best on her. and not just because i’m obsessed with red hair. she looks beautiful and it’s a really great, deep auburn red. this may reflect her getting some sense knocked into her.
