The only thing that keeps me from drugging myself before I fly is the fear that an accident will happen and I won’t live because I’m drugged up.

A girlfriend of mine once said matter-of-factly that the reason I have a fear of flying is that it might be a premonition of how I’m going to die. I think about what she said whenever I fly. If I feel this bad, I can only imagine how he feels.
