Photogs snapped some rare shots of Rihanna on the beach in Punta Mita, where she’s been staying with some close friends.

While you can’t see any of the bruising from the beating she sustained several weeks ago, the paparazzi said Rihanna looked sad in all their photos. No surprise there.

Meanwhile, Chris Brown remains in hiding, although it’s rumored that he’s begun taking anger management classes.

I’m glad Rihanna is at least out and about and spending time with her friends. It’s obviously going to be a long healing process, but we’re behind you 100%, girl!!!

Plane crash survivors DJ AM and Travis Barker say goodbye after having a late lunch at Toasted in LA yesterday.

These two much share such a close bond now. Can you imagine being the two only survivors of a plane crash? You’d be bonded with that other person forever. I’m glad that they have each other for support throughout this. They both seem like really good guys.

This story has created quite a bit of discussion on the Internets today, and I know how you people love to weigh in on issues like this, so I’m hoping to hear your thoughts. A little girl in Texas, who’s dying soon of leukemia, got her final wish: a beautiful wedding.

Every little girl dreams about her wedding day, complete with visions of a big beautiful white dress and, of course, the perfect man. But 9-year-old Jayla Cooper doesn’t have a lifetime to wait for Mr. Right. The Southlake, TX, girl has been battling leukemia for two years, a battle that could end in just a matter of weeks.

But what Jayla does have is a groom. He’s her best friend, Jose Griggs, a fellow patient at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas. “He is very cute,” Jayla giggled, “And I love him.”

Jayla and Jose recently tied the knot to fulfill her final wish: Getting married in a beautiful wedding, surrounded by family and friends.

“Will you take Jose to be your friend, forever and ever?” the pastor asked a tiara-topped Jayla.

“I will,” she replied.

“We didn’t expect to do this when she was nine years old,” said Lisa Cooper, Jayla’s mom. “But she has taught us all how to love each other and to be strong.” The children aren’t legally married, of course. In fact, the ceremony itself celebrated their intent — to always be friends, no matter what.

The girls over at Jezebel are talking about how perhaps this conveys the negative message that the most important thing a young woman can do in her life is get married. I disagree. She’s nine years old and she’s dying in a matter of weeks. If she dreams of having a beautiful wedding before she dies, let her have one!

Now, I completely agree with her here — I think if it’s used in moderation, Botox can work wonders. I think it gets a bad rap because some people abuse it and look ridiculous. I don’t even have wrinkles, but I use it from time to time to lift my eyebrows and just generally improve my skin tone, and I swear by it. I tell all my girlfriends to get it and they’re like, “But I don’t have wrinkles!” and I’m like “It doesn’t matter!” Then they get it done and they’re like, “This is amazing! I can’t believe I didn’t know about this before.” So there’s your beauty tip of the day, ladies: You’re never too young for Botox! (Your rants go in the comments section.)

Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer made their first public appearance as a couple at the Oscars last weekend, and People magazine points out that the two have been dating for a whole year now!

Where does the time go??? It feels like just yesterday John was out and about making Jessica Simpson’s life a living hell. I’m getting so old.

“At some point, you feel comfortable and say, ‘This is the choice I want to make,’” Mayer told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM morning radio show Wednesday, referring to the couple’s decision to “out” themselves.

Jonathan Rhys Meyers has checked into a rehab in England to deal with his alcoholism.

Suspicions arose when the Cork-reared actor failed to show at the IFTAs in Dublin earlier this month, where his acclaimed TV series The Tudors won 10 awards. The day before, he was allegedly spotted buying spirits in London. He also missed the Oscar Wilde Awards in LA, the annual celebration of the Irish in Hollywood, which is staged just before the Academy Awards.

Before filming the last series of The Tudors, producers insisted that he steer clear of alcohol, with his behaviour monitored by minders.

Jonathan did a previous stint in rehab in 2005 in LA.

Maybe this time it’ll stick???
