You know, she’s not a snotty bitch. She comes off as an extremely intelligent girl, who is an actress for all the right reasons. She loves to act, she isn’t in this for the fame or the glory. She is acting for the pure love of the craft. It must be a tough situation for her. She doen’t seem to be a glitzy-glam person, and all she wants to do is her job and then go home to return to her normal life. She is a true and respectable actor…. lay off.

I have never seen a picture of this girl that didn’t look like she would be most likely to be found standing in line to see her caseworker or file her monthly paperwork for her food stamps…there is just a very white-trashy, not-too-bright vibe she gives off.
i kinda agree with her dad, i’m a diehard twilight book fan, not so much of the film, and it did make tons of money. can’t wait until Nov. 20th- i hope chris weitz does a better job adapting the film

he’s the one that said it. and besides, he has a point. twilight was good, but by no measure was it worthy of any oscar recognition. be that that the offer to be a presenter or otherwise. as for kristin, i believe she’s bowl loving, not bong loving. i think she’s fantastic, and YES she was in movies before twilight, they were just smaller and lesser known. maybe people would know that if they watched anything other than was entertainment tonight tells them they should go see.
#1: People are attacking her because she has been moody and whiny about all of this newfound fame before. If she doesn’t want to be famous- she should stick to her “smaller and lesser known” movies.
#2: Movies like Twilight are made to generate a profit- not because they’re different or artsy. She [quite obviously] didn’t think she was going to win an Oscar for her performance.. so, I can only assume, she did it for money. Not for the love of the movie.
#3: If she only made the movie for the money- doesn’t that make her just as bad as the “Entertainment Tonight featured movies”?
#4: Obviously Twilight & the other 3 books are super popular among teens. She had to know this, or else she’s an idiot. I’m assuming she’s not an idiot. So honestly- what else was she expecting- if not throngs of screaming teenage fans?
These points lead me to the conclusion that Kristen needs to get off her high horse and realize she sold out. She needs to stop playing it off like she’s better than this movie. She chose it, it didn’t choose her- which is what I think she’s constantly forgetting.

Just about everything about that movie was suckish, and I’ve seen her in plenty of other movies before she was “Bella”, that were much, much better. An actress doesn’t build a name by one hit (especially not a TWEEN one), and she probably realizes that. I’d be bitter too, knowing my fate was most definitely seeled as a book character made crappy movie.
