Chris Brown’s PR Team Is Going to Be Working Overtime

I can’t even tell you how disappointed I am about this.

Chris Brown — whom I’d adored for being such a good role model — turned himself into the LAPD late Sunday night and was charged with felony battery after being wanted for domestic violence. The violence may or may not have been against his girlfriend Rihanna — police haven’t confirmed or denied it — but both Chris and Rihanna were scheduled to perform at the Grammys on Sunday and both backed out at the last minute.

Chris made his $50K bail and was released.

I’m just so upset about this. I really thought he was such a good guy and such a good example. And then this shit happens. Very, very disappointing, Chris.

If you want to be realistic, this isn’t surprising.

  2. kiki says:

wow….i can’t even imagine him doing this. his public persona is such a sweetheart. but i guess u can’t know everything about everything. this is horrible

  3. Jasmine says:

Reports r coming in that Rihanna gave him herpes.

I keep hearing different versions of this. Some say that Rhianna was in a car accident and Chris somehow “threatened” the person who hit them or who they hit while in the limo and that all of this happened outside of the car. Chris has not been charged for assault but instead charged with “Criminal Threats”. Regardless, we should wait until more details come out about this before really placing judgment on anyone.

where are you finding that? I have only found that he is being investigated for assault on a female

    • Valerie says:

He was charged with felony criminal threats. That felony means that there was also some physical contact.

“In most U.S. jurisdictions, the crime remains a misdemeanor unless a deadly weapon is involved or actual violence is committed, in which case it is usually considered a felony.”

      Yes, I wikipedia that shit.

  5. Kari says:

I hope it’s true. I hope it’s Rihanna. I hope he kicked the shit out of her.
    I’m so sick of her.
This isn’t the first time I’ve heard reports of him beating her.

  6. Tracy says:

I hope it’s all a misunderstanding. I really like Chris Brown. I don’t want him to be a wifebeater.

  7. Valerie says:

I was watching the news and they said that the woman victim has bruises on her face and BITE MARKS ON HER ARMS. Can you believe that shit?

  8. sherry robbs says:

If she gave him as STD, then she deserves what she got.

  9. Anne says:

E! channel claims that it was Rihanna, but I don’t know how much truth there is to that…

  10. Lizbeth says:

wow. this really is disappointing, and I have nothing more to say.

  11. trollydolly says:

IF it’s true and if it’s Rhianna whom he assaulted, I hope to God she has the sense, self respect and dignity to press charges. I hope she tells the world what she did to her and shows other women trapped in abusive relationships that there is no shame in letting people know your boyfriend or husband is a violent, vicious fuck.
If it’s true I hope his career is destroyed.

men do this kind of thing all the time, it’s sadly very common and the women rarely report it. I heard rumours Jay zed was in the similar frame of mind. Additionally living with these ladies who have such HUGE egos can’t be easy peasy either. They should give most of their fortunes away to deserving parties, and just have enough to live on in comfort, no one needs a plane or 6000 pairs of shoes etc. [dudes and dudettes]

  13. ginger says:

Why is everyone so shocked? Chris Brown likes Double Mint gum, we all know anyone that likes Double Mint is prone to violence!

No seriously, this is really sad. There have been crazy reports that Rihanna was seen with marks all over her ;(

  14. Chuck says:

Chris Brown said that there was domestic violence in his household when he was growing up (stepfather hitting his mom).

    • trollydolly says:

It’s dreadful how history tends to repeat itself and many children who grew up in abusive households can become either abuser or abused themselves. He needs serious therapy.

  15. Gary says:

    He’s a no talent THUG….. who cares

Okay Riri went after JZ and Timberlake but no nibbles.. Then she found the young handsome guy just for an escort and publicity. Ignoring him and doing dull things as a kind of date.. but keeping him at arms length as if he didn’t truely meet her standards. It was clear he was a short term thing to get her to the rich, powerful man she wanted. She bossed him about one time too many, probably made him keep apart from her at the ceremony, ignored him for best shots of her alone.. took off to tell him a thing or two on how to behave before the next gig that night in the car and probably slapped him down and said beat it.. when he didn’t like it. Make him cry honey? UH UH. Well, dominating a man out of your life with scorn by the pledge to submit my body, mind and soul to her strictest discipline, and expect severe punishment for the slightest disregard of her authority. Said punishment will be administered to me in whatever form my Mistress feels best befits her mood and the occasion., didn’t work for Vadge either. Guy let her pay all the bills, enjoyed the children and his work, home and laughed at her starving, over-exercising, constant beauty treatment needs to be twenty three and found only suffering in pain and misery of her selfish self-inflated ego.

I must admit, I am sick of chris brown, his cocky attitude and music annoy me, but i def didn’t think he’d beat the hell outta anyone…kind of looks like a chump to me

  18. Indigo says:

Bite marks, hmmmm. Does that make anyone else think he may have raped her? I hope not.
