Amy Winehouse Is Looking the Best She Has in Years

You guys think I’m kidding, but I am not.
This is probably the least insane I have seen Amy Winehouse look in years.
It’s one of the latest pictures of Amy coming from her extended vacation in St. Lucia (you can tell because she’s wearing the tourist trap T-shirt), where she’s supposedly falling in love with a local tennis instructor.
Whatever he’s doing in or out of the bedroom, it’s working. She still doesn’t look like a completely healthy human being, and she could stand to gain about 30 pounds, but her face has definitely lost its “I’m a crazy crackhead” vibe. Her skin is starting to lose the gray, and her eyes look alive again. Oh, man, I hope this is a turning point for Amy, because she didn’t have much further downhill to go.

Those pants remind me of the hot metal dudes my brother used to bring home back when he was in high school and I was like eight and banging my head to Ratt. Well, trying.
Apparently, I am the same age as your brother. Because every dude that I dated (all three of them) wore those jeans.

Although she is thin, she does not need to wear a belly shirt or bikini. Her body is gross!
I don’t think she has to gain any weight.. She looks healthy enough weight-wise. However her body’s sort of oddly propertioned but yes, I agree – ever since that vacation she’s been looking better and better!
I think she is the biggest talent right now, she’s got a Billie Holiday sort of feel, her voice is amazing. She needs to bless us with her voice in the next many, many years to come. Get well Amy!

i thought this whole St. Lucia thing was going to be over, but I’m so glad it isn’t. She looks so much better than she usually does, and I like her hair short!

Sadly, as a rule, I don’t think the adjective “good” could ever apply to anybody in tobacco-stained acid washed jeans after 1989! She does look seriously better, but somebody needs to take up a collection for her to attend a “makeup for women older than 13″ class and a visit to Dr. Dorfman’s office!

I can’t believe she found sobriety AND my dad’s jean’s from the 80s in St. Lucia.
She has a beautiful, soulful voice and Mark Ronson for a BFF – two ingredients for a great album. I really hope she can get it together to record something this year, as scheduled. And yes, she’s tote uckenfugly (even before being a crackwhore), but so are a lot of singers. The music makes up for it.
Beet, I don’t understand how you can look at that old pic of Mischa Barton in the white dress and say she needs to lose weight, then look at Amy Winehouse in that beach pic and say she could do with gaining 30 pounds. A lot of weight contradictions go on here.
