Zooey Deschanel Working on New She & Him Album

Many of us die-hard Zooey Deschanel fans have fallen in love with her on more than just the big screen — her debut album with her band, She & Him, was called Volume One and exceeded everyone’s expectations. It’s a really great album! If you haven’t heard it, I’d highly recommend checking it out.
So it’s fantastic to hear that the newly engaged Zooey is recording a follow-up album with her musical partner, M. Ward.
“We’re working on it. I can’t say exactly when it will be finished. … Give me some time! I need a break!” she says. “I’ve been writing a lot, and we’ve been recording some, so, hopefully, I don’t know. I don’t want to put a number on it, but it’s going well and, I mean, it’s fun, as always.”

It is the weirdest and most confusing thing, Zooey Deschanel looking way, way, way too much like Katy Perry. It’s way too weird. And I love Zooey, but can’t stand Katy Perry.
I know. Every time I see a picture of one or the other I have to look twice. They look like twins.

She does resemble Katy Perry, but Zooey is far prettier, and with a lot less make-up.
I love, love, She & Him.
But I hate Zooey because she’s marrying my boyfriend. Jerk.
I love her. I love the album. I can’t wait for more music from her. I don’t think she looks that much like Katy Perry. I mean…I can tell them apart…
her eyes are so breathtakingly beautiful. there is one scene in Almost Famous where they are so blue it hurts. i love her.
Adore her! I can’t wait to hear her next album. I was watching the Go Getter last night and there’s a great collaboration between her and M. Ward on the soundtrack that isn’t on their first album, maybe it will be on the next one. Fingers crossed!

i just heard that album, wow, great? it’s a cover album, it’s ok but not amazing great. well maybe like courtney love her far more talented musical husband will write her some good songs
It’s not a cover album actually. There are a few covers on there, yes, but Zooey wrote most of the songs herself. And as for its quality, well, to each their own. I love it, though.
You know i was a huge fan until I saw She & Him. After the show, we saw her behind the club. There was only one fan gathered, a young girl, who asked for her autograph. Zooey was totally bitchy to this girl, snubbed her and hopped on the bus like she was Liz Taylor or something. I totally lost respect. She was so bitchy that I decided I didn’t like her so much
